So it's not even remastered on the Vita.. I don't see why they call it HD when the Vita doesn't even have an HD screen

Yep it's pretty shit here now. SW used to bustle with activity and even not so important threads would get a decent amount of posts, now it's just barren

So much for the mods telling us "the site change will make things better", I still haven't seen anything better than the old version forums wise

Vita version is washed out.

not really that impressive of displays, most of the visual quality is in the artistic design and not the hardware performance, the environment is too static for it to show off the hardware performance capabilities... anyhow, I'd at least expect it to pull off a PS2 game

The vita one is lacking in the textures. Luckily I don't have a crappy vitaTV and will play it on the normal vita where I won't notice any of it.

Still getting it on Vita, because I think JRPGs work best on handhelds.

When was SW not like that? and yes the vita version looks way worse

Is there a comparison of the game on Vita TV and then on the handheld? I would think that would make more sense.

@da_illest101: The Vita version actually does look sharpened up over the PS2 version when you look at the characters and UI. Textures aren't as sharp as the PS3 version, sure. But at the distance the camera is placed from the textured surfaces during most of the game (which is fixed because there is no camera control) they look sharp and detailed.

I guess you have to see it running in person to really appreciate it.

My sources have been telling me that the graphics on Vita TV aren't the only problem though. The slight delay typical of most HDTVs also means it is quite a bit harder accurately hit the target area for Tidus's Overdrive.

And from having run through the game myself I have found there are multiple cases of framedrops whenever your party + a few NPCs are all on screen at once (which is every other scene after the first few hours).

Playing one of the most disappointing sequels in RPG history on a qHD screen? No thanks.

Getting the PS3 version. One of the best RPG's ever made period. Looking forward to going back to Spira:-)

Ever since the PS4 announcement, I've been wondering where all the Lemmings have gone? Ever since then, it seems SW has been mostly dominated by Cows?

Yeah, the PS3 versions looks drastically better. I hope it looks similar on the Vita, and not similar to the Vita TV version. In other words, directly on the Vita screen.

Certain RPGs like Pokemon, 16-bit JRPGs, 16-bit-styled JRPGS, or any overhead JRPG definitely seem very much at home on handhelds, but it seems like a game like FFX is more suited to a console.

Isn't the Vita version comes with the PS3 version? Anyway I'll be playing on both!
