FF Type-0 over 1 Million units worldwide.. SE thanks fans

Square Enix confirms earlier today that Final Fantasy Type-0 the very first current gen Final Fantasy game has shipped over 1 million units and is thanking all fans for the support.

I liked the darker theme of the game. It's definitely a great appetizer course for people like me itching to play XV finally.

I didn't get the game yet doesn't seem like a full price kinda game, but glad it sold well cuz i do like rpgs and squares the best

FF Type-0 is a god awful game with a terrible storyline and is no where near on par with previous FF titles. It's pretty obvious this game sold 1 million because of the demo but 1 million is still basically nothing compared to the sales of the previous titles. I have no clue how it even managed to get an 8/10 on this website.

I am playing through this game now, and I have to say I disagree with most of you.

The combat is dull, at this point I'm on Chapter 6 and I'm getting tired of going from area to area with so little change between each. You essentially button mash the dodge button, then button mash the attack button, then get killed by some enemy off camera you couldn't see.

You are stuck using 3 different characters, and can't change between those 3 during fights, so if you want others you have to wait until you're at a checkpoint. The only other way to change is for one of them to die. And some enemies you can only kill using ranged attacks, but not all characters can do ranged attacks, so you can choose to backtrack and waste time swapping, or let one of your characters die.

When you go to the game menu, or when a character dies and you're switching out a new one, it doesn't pause the game.

The characters are extremely boring, and the game makes you care about a whopping 3 of them out of 20ish.

The story is all over the place, makes no sense half the time, and the english dialogue is atrocious. The objectives are also very boring.

Most people probably bought it just for the FFXV demo.

I like Type 0, but I wish they remade the whole game, not just 75% of the character models.

I know the game is good... but honestly have not tried it and only bought for the excellent demo. Well worth it imo

It's shipped... this doesn't mean much. The game itself is great though but that fucking motion blur is the worst.

So essentially thanks....but sorry 1m isn't enough we wont take our jrpg series back to a closer position of their roots we will go ahead making them GTA rip offs, and we will continue with the rerererereleases.

I've been playing this a lot, and started Xenoblade on 3ds. The only issue is the camera can't be toned down, which it needs to be, but you get used to locking on enemies it becomes a non-issue. Great game.

I need to keep playing it. Good sales for a good game.

@LJS9502_basic: I was thinking about getting it. I just think it looks a little half assed. The character models look great but the rest is lacking.

I'm just tired of the half ass remakes. If they did this on the FFXV engine I would get it for sure.

I still want to play it, just waiting for it to be appropriately priced, wasn't going to overpay for the FFXV demo.

I love the game. It has its flaws but If it gets a sequel it's going to be amazing.
