Far Cry 4 has mouse acceleration on PC.

Well, until it's fixed, use an Xbox controller, guy in forum says it works smooth.

It's an FPS on PC. I want to use a Mouse and keyboard the way FPS's should be played. I'm not going to use a controller.

Which I agree on. Haven't purchased any of their crud since watch_dogs. Just saying the benefits of PC is the endless options for gaming, so lets say someone did get the game. He can use the 360 controller if he wishes to avoid the mouse acceleration.

Either it will be fixed, or you can fix it yourself. I don't understand why devs implement it in fucking FPS games on fucking PC, though. I don't get the point. All it does is making you aim worse in a really annoying way.

This sucks and I already preordered the game.

Mouse acceleration means the movement is based on speed. If you move the mouse 2 centimetres, slowly, it'll move the cross-hair one distance and if you move the mouse 2 centimetres but fast, it'll move the cross-hair lot farther.
Without mouse acceleration the movement of the mouse and the movement of the cross-hair will be 1 : 1, which is preferable in most cases imo. A developer certainly shouldn't force mouse acceleration on you, it should be optionable for people who want it.

Mouse acceleration is quite common and can be a good thing. It makes it easier to precision snipe and still turn around very quickly. It should always be an option you can turn off and if it is overdone or too slow it quickly turns into a very bad thing.

Just played the game for 30 minutes and I'm not sure if I noticed any mouse acceleration. Mouse smoothing perhaps, but felt close enough to 1:1 that I'm not complaining.

Brilliant Game . Hoping for a sequel .

Ubisoft Montreal doesn't want direct sequel, but is interested in another unique spin-off.

It's automatically disabled and you can toggle 1. on/off AND you can even customize how much acceleration, in case you actually want it on.
