once again, no mention on wether or not the PS3 version is botched. Guess they only sent 360 review codes out, which would answer my question of if it was botched..
I would be suprised it fable scored any higher. I would be too. We know NOTHING about Fable 3 so far, it's weird how little they've promoted it when it's so close to release.

When are people going to stop saying this? Just get over it, yea there isn't as much RPG elements compared to the first. ME2 is still an RPG and still a great game.

This is why I hate how much a GS score counts around here, Vanquish gets a 9.0 a 7 hr shooter and now everyone is going to say it is better or just as good as New vegas depending on what GS gives it. Just like castlevaina is branded the GOW clone and looked at as trash from alot of the posters here. SW is a crazy place ans detatched from reality most of the time.

I'll wait for the GOTY edition. Most of the reviews keeps on saying it's too much like Fallout 3, which is a good thing for me since that game is one of my favorite.

Good game yes RPG no Please, define what makes an RPG. ME2 features more role playing than in my favorite RPG Chrono Trigger or in Pokemon and both are considered RPGs... am I the only one who realizes that the conversation choice is role playing? It's not just leveling up and micromanagement that makes an RPG.

An RPG by Xbox standards? Sure. Other platforms? It's laughable to call it an RPG.

I am only a hr in or so, and I can say it so far is exactly like fallout3. I loved FO3 so I dont have a problem with it, but I could see reviewers docking for it.

A better statement would be that each has different standards. I don't see why New Vegas would be placed on a much higher pedestal than Vanquish, considering both devs have dished out superb games.
The ign video review wasn't exactly accurate, particularly the part where the reviewer said the developer made the same mistake TWICE by not allowing playing after finishing the main quest . Considering this is Obsidian's first Fallout game, I don't see how they could make a mistake on a game twice they've just developed once.

It never did, it just wasn't that much of an rpg, it was mostly a tps with dialogue choices and a level up system.

Well Fallout New Vegas has to live up to the critical acclaim that Fallout 3 left. Sequels to high acclaimed games tend to score lower if they don't. Ex: Bioshock 2 to Bioshock 1.
