Insider: Most hardware talks are coming at e3 tho as I have been told earlier today..
I did get told expect a bit of mysticism in there approach .. like how!!! Development and 3rd party engines are going to be big conversation makers over the web the next few days :)
The question to dig on that will answer all the questions ... does xbox one support native dx12 .. 6 hour to go.. :)
Insider: X1 will not have to wait till 2015 for dx 12 features. Build will see dx 12 patches shown.
Forza 5 patch on x1 soon ... api updates available to all 3rd party developers by April beta available since February.
Dx12 on xbox one is accelerated by hardware architecture. Check leaked slides.. not all gpus will feature direct 3d enhancement .. not the same as mantel for xbox one ;)
all games will be 1080p 30/60 @ e3 ... more hardware talk specific to x1 at build.. gfx evolution @ e3. Expect leaked dx12 tech demo on x1 later today. ..
Remember to check the two heads is better then one. Also.. logic 2x slides. It will make sense soon.. and also dig the dx 12 slides in regards to recourse management improvements... move egines in software aspects.. a lot more to dig :)
Insider: Also the 50% increase in performance i told you about a few months back. Was from dx12 api enhancements.. this is still on mono drivers ... and I expect alot of websites to only list cpu as benefit number one ...
stereo driver is 100% gpu layers.. dx12 also brings tier 2 textures and culling enhancements... these enhancements had nothing to do with unlocking hardware layers or kinect 2 resources... :) ryse did not have any of these features it was all dx 11.1 api.. and very buggy. . New ali will fix this very soon.
|The dx12 gdc conference was totally geared towards taking back the market in regards to steambox and partners. Amd/ nvidia intel all three rivals on stage.. hhhmm its a clear message that ms is going no where.|
mantel is low level api enhancing via drivers...
Dx12 is full api change.. new gfx tools which were not disclosed to public.. other then better culling which is straight up enhancment from any optimization. Which dx 12 is not optimization its full api re design. There is so much going on behind closed doors with engine and constructors apis stereo drivers.. there hasn't even been offloading done on x1 yet.. build will definitely see the swing from devs.. e3 will be hardware layers .. the reason is to end this debate for September mess world release the true date x1 was ment to releases. .. and the fact ap didnt correct mrx over twitter last week over stacked gpu dx 12 is because its true in term... but I would ask them about there hardware layers and if there going to unlock the extra layer in time for September e3..
Cos everything iv said is true.. by now you will see it takes time for stuff to officially surfers on the right channels. .. we have all proven sdf wrong on 50% more power when they quoted 8% and that was from some hidden hardware threads for kinect. dx12 + new drivers . Clock speeds.. ram... games.. even some developers are talking about hidden stuff officially. And I never said witcher 3 was canned for ps4.. I started the hold up was dx12.. and I stand by it will look better on x1 then ps4 when it releases next year.
You wanted a game changer you got one officially today.. 1080p is not a problem any more for x1 for 3rd party's ... e3 will have the answers you are waiting for. Its gojng to be that one more thing moment you have all been waiting for... but I would keep checking news today still more to come ... keep digging mrc..

albert is wrong.. there not dual staked gpus.. there is a dx core app and dx12 gpu with dual logic. Ms internal "term" layered hardware soc.
Nda ... people can make a flame war about this.. mark this blog .. for build 2014 and e3 2014.. I ant going anywhere ill stick by this blog and this information. Mrx you know :)
