Enough is enough, stop trying to debate console is better than PC.
1. There is numerous E sport based in PC, way more than console.
2. Pc give players the chance to "mod" games, in fact, some people mods too hard the game becomes a total different game
3. The graphic, processor and performance edge console has can be easily obtained in a PC, simply by swapping out the original with a much more costly and powerful part.
4. PC spawned numerous games, counter strike was king of FPS, which then led to rise of halo, the king of console fps, and counter strike was only a MOD in half life. so..... a simply mod basically boomed a whole industry that been dominating console gaming since.
5. You can't modify a PS4/XBO at least not legally. What you have is what you get, your stuck with it until Microsoft or sony comes out with a new machine to suck more money off you. PC, you can upgrade your personal rig over time to keep up with modern games.
6. When XBO announced it can't play older version of games....... well...... PC doesn't have that issue, only system compatibility issues with certain games.
7. I know there is plenty of PS4/XBO emulator for PC, I have yet to see the vise versa.
8. There is a solid price tag on console, U pay that price for only that performance. But on pc, you pay for what you want and which ever suits your economy, you can have the crappiest module and game with minimum enjoyment, or, you can blow your money over the rig and run games at highest possible performance.
9. This is rhetorical, but you can build a pc your self, install system and make it run games, but I don't think you can build a console and install the system to run console games......
10. Limitations, I have yet to find something you can't do in a PC that you can with a console, but the other way around? Alot. How much RTS, X4 games have you seen on console?
11. Modules, like mods, you can modify your pc, wrong disk type? purchase that specific disk drive and plug it into the pc to play. Don't think that is a option with console.....
12. Vents, you can take apart a PC or laptop and modify the cooling system so you can cool the machine better, but when your dealing with console.... over heat and you have RRoD, then you pray to heaven nothing is broken.
So yeah, console is basically purchase a finished product, PC, you can purchase a finished product but you can also purse a sandbox to build to your hearts/economic content.
Unless you can find something exclusive only to console other than Microsoft live or the fact you can't play pirated games on console, please stop the meaningless war on how console is better than pc.... face it, it isn't.
But console vs console.... that's debatable.
