Wii U the better choice for the year. The PS4 and Xbox one have nothing to offer this year in terms of gaming. I will do the same thing I did for the PS3 wait 6 months till something worth playing comes out.

I didn't bother reading it. There isn't anything they can do to get me to buy a Wii U unless they have a rebate deal that refunds your purchase in full.

If the new Nexxt Gen consoles weren't coming out this year, I'd probably grab on of these Wii U.This is the 32GB version too, so the $300 price isn't bad. They still need to get it down to $250 though. If they still have this bundle in the middle of next year, I might grab it. By then there should be a LOT more games on the shelves.

no shit---- im sure everyone will buy the 12v12 when there's a version with 32v32 with much better graphics, its a no brainer and i didn't even included KZSF because against wiiu its absolutely no needed, too easy to dominate that thing with bf4 alone.

But I don't get these sort of recommendations. Who makes a decision like this, these consoles aren't cheap.

I wouldn't buy any console because 'it looks better right now' or 'it looks like the better choice this holiday season'. I'm looking at the future, a few months down the line a year down the line.

None of those series compare to the milkage of Mario. Within one year there has been New Super Mario Bros U, New Super Luigi U and Super Mario 3D World. Call me when there's 3 entries of those series on one console in 1 year. People should be sick on Mario and COD especially. At least Killzone and Halo get breaks.

The article is trying to be optimistic about Wii U, but Im not so..we already know all the games that are not coming to the Wii U & its alot even future ones...& the ones we know that are coming are very little. Christmas won't do much unless PS4/Xbone screws up their launch ..or suffers from hardware issues ..which I doubt...but if one does fail, then people would just move to the other either Xbone or PS4. Until Nintendo can get more 3rd parties support & announce more titles for next yr..not the ones we've already heard from last year.

I could see the WiiU selling well this holiday. Between the New Super Mario Bros Bundle, and the great games that have already came out it could be a top item on parents list. Not to mention that Skylander bundle, will definitely help move units given how popular the series is.

He's right though. If you have to pay tax in your state It's easily $500 with a PS4 and just one game. Everyone is gonna buy PS+ anyways so that still makes it over $500.

You say that like it's impressive. The PS4 is just launching and the Wii U will barely have over 5 exclusives worth playing after 1 year. As far as 3DS vs Vita, that's purely opinion. As a student of Japanese I play way more games then people such as yourself who are stuck with English only releases and Vita has much more support in Japan. Using system wars names is lame also.

None of the next gen consoles are worth it to me yet, but Wii U would probably be the best buy out of the 3, yeah. Just because it has some games and Ps4 won't have any for a year probably.

I think when Wii U is $250 or it comes bundled with a Wii U pro and a game @ $300 will it be the perfect time to buy. Pikmin and Mario is all that's worth it this season, but in a few months after that you can get Mario kart and Smash bros., plus DK even if there's no price drop.

If it were just up to the games it's worth it now for sure, but the hardware makes it much less enticing...
