E3 2016: What was the Game of the Show?

Final Fantasy XV. The Titan fight looked kinda weak, but the other stuff look really good to me.

For me... ...South Park: The Fractured But Whole.

What? It was the only time in any of the conferences I was actually entertained by what was shown instead of merely intrigued.

For me, it was The Legend of Zelda.

In a lot of ways, I imagine putting it on the poll may be a bit unfair, because we literally got to see half a dozen hours of gameplay from it, meaning it had more time to make an impression and stick out in our minds, than any other game at E3.

Yeah, I would switch my answer to South Park in terms of absolutely best presented game there.

Its PREY by far best game revealed at E3.

It was Titanfall until Nintendo came out and took a massive shit on every game at E3.

Dishonored 2 looked most interesting from the ones with gameplay footage. Not as good as I expected it to be but still pretty good. Followed by Dawn of War 3, Mount and Blade 2 and Horizon Zero Dawn. Prey had most interesting teaser. Overall, Bathesda wins.

The ones we actually saw realistic gameplay from, so, South Park, Dishonored 2, Zelda. Out of those I'd say South Park is more exciting to me, item management in Zelda looks like it will get extremely tedious if they dont have a system in place for that.

Death Stranding. I don't even know what it is but the trailer was weird as ****.

Wii and Nintendo fans has only to vote for Zelda since there are no other games to play or vote meanwhile PC, Xbox and PS4 gamers has like 10 different games to vote and vote split. So yeah, poll is biased.

And Zelda was not live demo from E3 as we all saw. Behind the scenes don't count or else you should added rest 100 games as well.

Zelda trailer was same as Spider-Man trailer.

I was actually strictly meaning games which got live gameplay demos, but no reason why stuff like Spider-Man or ReCore shouldn't count

Legend of Zelda....closely followed by The Last Guardian. Really between these to it's hard to choose.

Char how could you leave The Last Guardian out? lol makes voting for The Legend of Zelda against the other options a no brainer.

Nintendo and Sony killing everything as usual.

Sony and Nintendo giving the competition a 1-2 punch of the type of exclusives that set them apart from the rest.

You just can't substitute inspiration, vision and passion with extra textures and resolution. This is why I'm a console gamer.

There were lots of cool games this year that I was impress, (Sorry but didn't wanna watch LoZ: Breath of the Wild and wanna play the game fresh and not get spoiled) so I'll just list my top 7 games of E3 2016:

2. Resident Evil: Biohazard
3. LawBreakers
4. Mount & Blade 2
5. Watch Dogs 2
6. Pokemon: Sun/Moon
7. Prey

I voted: Horizon: Zero Dawn.

This years E3, nobody really stole the show, it was average at best and the big 3 really didn't put up a fight but the games they show, I was pretty amaze and looking forward to what they bring to the table. I give this year's E3 a 7/10.

I really loved seeing Zelda. Definitely want to play it. But I can't because I'm a racist that hate Japan evidently

What did you think of Zelda?

I was ready to say Horizon until yesterday. Zelda looks undeniably fantastic, to where I'm slightly hating myself for not keeping on to the Wii-U.

Gears of War 4 had some nice physics and dynamic weather going on. Days Gone was too very impressive with the hordes of zombies.

I voted God of War. However. most of them have me interested accept for Gear, Pokemon, Titanfall, Watchdogs, and Dishonored. I'm not a COD fan, but it looked good to me. Where is Spidey?

@flyincloud1116: I only put games on there that got live gameplay demos, but I did add the Other option in case others wanted to talk about a game that had an 'in engine' showing or whatever.

Forza Horizon 3. World looks fantastic and it's coming to PC.

If this had been asked Monday night I would have had a hard time choosing between Horizon Zero Dawn and Sea of Thieves, but after yesterday Zelda has stolen the show in my opinion

Yes, I see and there was a good showing for games this year.

Horizon is till the best new thing for me and the newest showing just makes me more and more confident in the endproduct but I voted for God of War because it really suprised me in how the franchise evolved. The Father - Son dynamic will be great to see, especially Kratos being the father and the new mythos with new gods will be a sight to behold in the upcoming battles.

I was pretty impressed by Zelda and Horizon: Zero Dawn. Those are probably my most anticipated games right now... behind Persona 5. If all goes according to plan they should all be releasing within a month or so of each other. February-March 2017 will be wonderful.

Days Gone.

I like zombie games but serious zombies games. I don't like Dead Rising because it feels too unrealistic and funny.

Also Days Gone is open world game, with story and about survival. But Zelda and Zero Dawn are my second and third place but i just prefer more hardcore. I kinda love those games like Stalker.

Also zelda coloring is kinda off. I mean everything looks too bright. green grass looks bright white green. i dont know its gamma or something.

There is too much white color and also had frame rate problems. im really worried that they had to wash off colors to keep frame rate stable

Why no Sea of Thieves option? That's the game that I would have voted for as my Game of Show if it was on this poll. Sea of Thieves looks like an incredibly fun game to play with friends and set sail for some pirate adventures! Plus, it is original so it is also a breath of fresh air! It has shot to the top of my most anticipated games list after E3. Since it is not included on this poll, I guess I would go with Zelda as #2.

I don't care what anyone says. Resident Evil 7 is one of my most hyped games now. Looks fantastic. FH3 is a close second.

Dishonored 2 for me personally. But God, it looked so choppy with that framerate.

I went into this year's E3 expecting nothing and still have a disappointed feeling. This was the worst E3 in atleast a decade.
