Dutch retailer + Bestbuy lists Tales of Zestiria for PS4

Dutch retailer Nedgame has listed Tales of Zestiria for PlayStation 4 in addition to the already announced PlayStation 3 version.

While not announced, the game has been speculated to receive a PlayStation 4 port due to the timing of its release, as well as a PC version via Steam.

Tales of Zestiria is currently only available on PS3 in Japan but it is scheduled to be released a bit later this year worldwide.

it was probably an accidental listing, this happens a lot, I doubt the thousands of retailers out there across the world all get a memo of this games release and every crap wage earning peon is going to keep their mouth shut but one person didn't get the memo because they were on holiday came back and spilled the beans and the fucking Jenga tower of secrecy comes crashing down... do people really think a Dutch retailer is going to spill the beans before potentially everyone else in such a scenario? Is it more plausible that no plan for a PS4 release ever existed because there's no plans out yet to release this yet on the PS4? (well, yet anyways). I'm not doubting a PS4 port is coming, I'm just saying the source here isn't going to be indicative of anything.

Hopefully it comes to the PS4 with better camera, like Xillia.

That would be nice. I am kinda over having my PS3 taking space for the odd RPG.

I already came up with a theory:

They said the engine they created was to be utilized towards next gen games. Zestiria 1's DLC ended on a pretty big cliffhanger, so I can see them announcing Zestiria 2 at Tales of Festival and then adding Zestiria as a port on the PS4 on the side.

if only these modern Tales of games weren't so terrible... But what makes it even worse is that the franchise's more popular now than when it was actually decent. That gotta show just how thirsty weaboos are.

I have a feeling this will end up being ported to the PS4 after sales drop off for the PS3 version so they can get that double-dip action everyone is after right now.

Ok yep looks like its really happening.. finally i can fully move to the PS4 now and not need to use the PS3 that much anymore.

Next up KH 2.5 HD for PS4 plz? i havent bought the PS3 version yet

Makes sense for Namco to release it on PS4, so I'm not surprised and quite pleased that it might be happening.
