Driveclub in a nutshell, is everything wrong with PS4

A mega hyped exclusive....that flopped and has a horrible online experience.

When I had ps3 I couldn't overlook how shitty the online was, even for exclusives like MLB the show, the online was fucking choppy as a hundred year old roller coaster...a curveball would not only curve but skip to the plate. You had to time the pitch and also time the lag, the rest of the online experience felt cheap, and its the same with the PS4.

Sony makes promises, overhypes games, delays them, and then releases a flop, with broken online.

Meanwhile on xbox one you got Forza 5 last year in time for the release of the console which got great reviews and a smooth robust online community, ANDDD forza horizon 2 this year which wasn't mega hyped, not delayed and still shitted all over drive club, with a smooth online community.

Ryse, Dead Rising 3, Titanfall (even thoug is not exclusive lems hyped the sh1t out of it)

Titanfall = 9.......9 is really close to 10

With the exception of sports games I never suffered from lag online with my PS3. Sports titles in general with my PS360 suffered from too much lag which is why I don't play sports games online.

I'll still hype the shit out of those games for the simple fact they are not on the PS4. All excellent games that work well.

Amazing the amount of people playing TitanFall since release day and the online still thrives. Probably about 1/3 of that number is attempting to play 5Club right now and still can't do what it was meant to do.

Ryse is one of the worst games I've played in a long time. It looks amazing, but isn't. Dead Boring 3 shoot 5 million zombies till you fall asleep yeah that's an 'excellent game'. I haven't played Titanfall but your definition of an excellent game seems to be at odds with mine. Halo MCC is the only reason to have an Xbox One, but it's a good enough one.

Sorry you don't agree with my tastes but a lot of other people enjoy those games very much. I find all of them have a good replay value and I could go back to them anytime. The MCC is definitely a reason to get The ONE though.

I have effectively spent £350 (console and cost of preorder) just to play Halo MCC and I consider it worth every penny and of course I now have an Xbox One for any great exclusives they come up with later. MCC will sell consoles, no doubt about it. It's up to MS to keep momentum after that with good exclusives. Ditto PS4 to an extent though I have bought some multiplats for PS4 which are great. But even if my Xbox One sits there doing nothing after I play through MCC it will come to life again when Halo 5 is released lol.

Xbox is not even one year old and already 2 Forza games...same old stuff

I don't know about you but when was drive club super hyped? Even at all the videos Forza 5 was beating it. The only people hyping it were the ones ragging on F5 for not having a day night cycle. I love racing games and never had much interest in drive club. I will play it since I get it free on PSN whenver they decide to release it on it, but I will probably still enjoy F5 more. But thats one game, I have 12 games (physical Disc, not counting digital indie games) on my PS4 so no, I don't see how it's doing bad.

I think Sony should have delayed Drive Club more. They must have known what sort of state it was in.

dead rising 3 got solid scores ranging from 7-8 and is fun as hell,

titan fall got solid scores as well ranging from 8-9.

atleast xbox HAS games to play ranging from good to great.

I think another year and it could have been a really good 2015 "launch title".

How is Gears and Halo like Call of Duty and Forza? The last Gears game came out March 2013 and the last Halo came out November 2012. The remaster collection is more like a hold me over until Halo 5. And do you have a crystal ball that tells you when the next Gears is coming?

And I bet Sony will release Uncharted, MLB:The Show, LBP (already coming), God of war, Gran Tourismo, and all the other 1st party crap that's been done to death every generation. Sure they have some original ips, but so do Microsoft and so do Nintendo.

Dead Rising 3 and (especially) Titanfall are very good games.

I got band for saying that Sony needs to stop with the gifs and lots of demos for unfinished games, stop worrying about the things that don't pertain to the game at the moment, just trying to hype the game just for it not be a complete games, I mean seriously who the hell focus on rainy clouds with no rain? i only pre order sure things, and even then its like maybeeeeee 1 game a year. I pre ordered red dead redemption because its rockstar and the wild west and ended up being my top 3 favorite game last generation. I pre ordered fallout new vegas because one day I found fallout 3 for 10 bucks and thought what the hell let me try it out and it blew my mind how good it was. And I pre ordered final fantasy 13 because of the hype, and it flopped. So 2 out of 3 were amazing.

@ps4hasnogames: 40 hours into DriveClub, its an awesome CLOSED ROAD Simcade. people expected something that this game never said it would be. Since few days ago online works just fine.

Cant compare Horizon 2 which is an open world racer with all arcade physics and closed road racer with clean driving in mind with mix of arcade and sim physics.

Looks better and plays better, online competition is great.

Driveclub surely released with some issues however I still enjoy the game.. hopefully devs will continue working on fixing issues and improve the game..
