Dragon Quest goes to the highest selling console. Since they said it would be on home consoles its safe to assume PS4 or at the very least Wii U.

XB1 is dead in japan and that's it's biggest selling market. Also, the fact that MS is skipping TGS this year pretty much confirms that didn't happen.

PS4/xbone/PC/Wii U is the most optimistic prediction. Realistically, will most likely be PS4/PC, PS4/PS3 or all out PS4 exclusive. Going by the current trend I'd bet on PS4/PS3 playstation title.

It was a top rant I agree but I don't see where he's wrong. Several parts of that quote state very clearly it's coming to consoles and NOT handhelds. Last I heard, the 3DS was a handheld.

Wii U is still waiting for Dragon Quest X to release this year. Im guessing it might get pushed to 2016.

I don't think so. Square-Enix isn't stupid they wouldn't use a minor spinoff title to gauge interest in the big mothership one. If anything it would be the opposite. The fact that DQ Heroes is coming out here means it's all but confirmed that XI will. Especially if it's on the PS4.

Sony about to get another exclusive.. a bunch of 3ds people are about to get upset. i hope the art style is cell-shaded like Ni No Kuni, that would look great but i doubt it will be

I'd really love another 'proper' Dragon Quest game. It's strange, I have been okay with some good remasters but DQ8 one of my fave games of all time I absolutely don't want any remaster or remake crap I just want a new game that's just as good as that one.
