I wonder what other franchises are gonna get the "Musou" treatment.
I personally would love Nintendo to do a fire emblem game. it would make perfect sense. it would be awesome to fly around as a Pegasus Knight and scout the area for a co-op buddy.

That's what I wanted in the first place when they announced Hyrule Warriors. Lots of characters and weapons to work with.
Still, Hyrule Warriors turned out better than I thought.
@finalstar2007: this better be localized.. but seeing that so many people didn't buy the Amazing Samurai Warriors 4, I don't have my hopes up.
Samurai warriors 4 was the freshest warriors game ever. It ran rock solid on ps vita where I played it and added new move sets to every character called hyper moves, that can be blocked by elites, but can enforce movement and kill 100s of grunts at a time. The dual character switching and actually good stories related to history made it a good game and a history lesson into 1.
Apparently the graphics for sw4 on ps4 was a major update over dynasty and orochi. Why they thought it was a good move to release it in October. ..ughh that killed any chance the game had in the west. It should of been a June - julyrelease, as nothing ever gets released then. Why pubs think everything has to coinside with Xmas or school...ughh most gamers are over 30.
I am very excited for this, being a mosou and dq fan. I would also appreciate dq7 and dq8 on psn pl3ase! And bring back dq to playstation or at least make them multiplatform games.
An MGS game where you sneak past thousands of guards at a time and they all explode.

Could very well be. Nintendo was behind Hyrule Warriors, and that gave it the extra polish and attention it needed for it to not be completely alike to a DW game.
Love some musou, dynasty warriors 8 was great despite the usual issues with difficulty.
It's like these games can never strike a perfect balance, normal is too easy, hard get's easy after mid game but pretty unbearable in spots during the beginning and then they just ramps up from there unless you craft or RNG the shops for some wicked ass weapons that just cheese the game.
I really wish there was a dynamic difficulty option, I understand the allure for completionists beating each battle on different settings but it would certainly help the game flow better.
Regarding the graphics/look of the game that people have mentioned it should be noted that this is a cross-gen game with PS3, sucks but it seems people forgot that fact.
If this was a ground up PS4 project or if the dev had an idea of what kind of sales the PS4 was going to achieve in it's first year I am sure the graphics would have been different and they would have made this a complete current gen title.
I might still get one of those DQ PS4's... shipping might tear me up but meh.. As far as this game.. again, whatever, but I will likely buy it in hopes they will get the point that we want a real DQ game on the PS4... a NEW one. Not a remake for the 14th time.
