Does Sony or MS have better 1st party titles?

I think this could likely decide the console wars, as 3rd party titles seem to not want to stick with only one console this generation. I think Sony puts out more games, but MS has come killers...Resistance isn't nearly as fun after playing Gears, I feel like an idiot out in the open...it doesnt feel reaslistic at all.

If MGS4 goes over to the 360 (ik its a rumor) then we will really see the need for Sony to put out some killer 1st party titles...

Microsoft has superior 1st party games:

Halo2 > Any Sony FPS

Forza > GT (Gamespot agrees)

Gears of War > Any Sony TPS

Sony has the better platformers though.

SONY has some good 1st party titles..

Sony has the best 1st party titles by far. And so far, they're the only one with 3rd party titles that are staying exclusive that I'm actually interested in.

And I felt the opposite... Gears is a fun game, but Resistance had a much more satisfying single player campaign than Gears did. I liked the online on Resistance more too, but Gears online is pretty fun too... just a different feel. But in the end, the only thing better about Gears is the graphics.

Although M$s 1st party titles tend to be a little better, Sony has much more quanity of rock soild 1st party titles. Much more diverse as well. More RPGs, adventure, platformer, racing, action games than M$'s FPSs and racing games.

Microsoft does shooters well. But IMO, those are the only strong titles they have.
