Kind of a stupid comparison, but I will bite. TR on PC looks better, especially when you take into account the scal of the environments. Ryse has such tiny ass environments it is unreal. It's obvious it was a Kinect game. Plus, Ryse has like super clean environments. TR wins art direction as well. I also find Ryse to be a little fuzzy.

I can max it on my gtx 660ti.... not counting the hair effects that takes away some fps

PS4 Tomb Raider looks better than Ryse, better resolution 1080p, better framerate 60fps, much bigger environment and TressFX. Ryse is 900p, 24fps, very narrow corridor level with pre rendered cutscenes.

im sorry but these eyes are scary as f*ck. Ryse is a blurry walk in a straight line game with the full power of the Bone (if it even had any) is on Marius's character. Marius looks much better than this ugly lara, everything else in TR shits on Ryse in every way imaginable.

If the Xbone is really a man, then I suggest Microsoft reveal it as soon as possible before it's too late.
You don't need the PC version of tomb raider to look better than ryse. TR on xb1 looks better than ryse, runs very fluid (steadier framerate), vastly more open, better lighting (more dynamic), scenes are a lot more complex (populated with more objects), MUCH better animation and environments are teeming with little touches of detail like volumetric dust that reacts to godrays penetrating the jungle canopy, flora swaying to and fro from the wind (all environmental animations are scripted but they do look nice), and consistently great texture detail. Only thing that looks better in Ryse is the main character. Ryse has very inconsistent textures ranging from gorgeous to blurry and low rez often times next to each other (kinda like KZ:SF), environments are flat and sparse except the narrow woodland paths at York that still look comparable (a bit better actually due to are direction but not by much) to TR scenery despite being much smaller and narrower, actual gameplay looks a notch or two lower quality than the exceptional cut scenes which is surprising considering how restrictive, linear, and small actual playable areas are, so many sacrifices and cut corners were made (mostly due to time restrictions) and the end result should have been better, a game that narrow and shallow in scope is supposed to look leagues better than it does, its looks great during sweeping zoomed out camera panoramas only to put you into a tiny box afterwards because it couldn't run those scenes in real time. The water is terrible too except that scripted ocean chop during cutscenes. Torches don't cast shadows on anything (kinda like that neon shit in infamous), a dark cave with multiple assailants donning torches should be a spectacle of dancing lights and shadows but not a single character casts a shadow, not on the floor or the cave walls; in tomb raider when lara has a torch at least herself and other npc's cast shadows . Those are some of the reasons why i have held off buying ryse for full price (the few hours i played were fun but not $60 fun) and await a big discount, it was a lazy effort with more potential than the devs afforded it.

LMAO um no, Tomb Raider on PC doesn't even look as good as the PS4 version. Buh buh its got teh tesselation. It also had almost no foilage and it has a static forrest which looks horrid compared to the next gen console versions.
