Does microsoft have a response to playstation premium?

Titans being released for playstatin premium. Games people actually want to play. Does microsoft actually have a response besides delays?

More games and lower prices? Not to mention day one releases of their own produced games?

Yes they do. Why do you think that the season 2 of Halo Infinite is six months long? They think of their playerbase as much as Sony loves theirs. Wouldn't be surprised if season 3 is ten months long. For the player btw.

I like Game Pass more myself. Getting to play all Microsoft’s first party games day one is a much better deal in my opinion.

Particularly with Sony fanboys I don't think you guys are GPs main target, that would be a waste of resources on MS side. At least you guys are useful to them in the way you constantly advertise it. That must be one of the reasons why they are doing so great right now. If you trash talk something bad like the Xbox One it kinda makes sense but if you do it for something which is factually great you're just being a corporation's useful idiot and feeding algorithms for them. I think both are great services.

PS+ is what made me get a PS5, no interest in the older stuff but being able to play Returnal, Demons Souls etc without having to spend £60/£70 is great.

Doesn’t launch in the UK until the 23rd though.

@davillain: It wasn’t that I never thought that it was a good deal, I just wasn’t sure if I would have the time to get enough out of it. Since joining it though I have been getting enough out of it to be more then worth it. Doesn’t help my backlog any but it is what it is. 😅

@davillain: Well I do still like to get physical games and will do so when I feel it’s worth it. Some stuff though especially if it’s a game that continually get updates then I may as well just go with the digital version. Then there’s stuff that I don’t particularly care if I “own” or not. Some games I’m fine with just getting my playtime with it and moving on.

Gamepass doesn't have returnal, demon souls remake, GOT, etc.

Theres some good games on the list. Spiderman, and miles morales, returnal, uc4 collection and demon souls. Ghost of tshushima is a decent game too and somehow they got ghost runner on the service.

The service is good enough to get if you're new to playstation. Personally I already have spiderman, miles, uc collection, and got. So for me, the service wouldn't be worth it. Either way, I do think the service is good enough. Like Sony put in a good enough effort to pass as a subscription service. If you knew how badly their older subscription service sucked, and trust me it sucked badly, this is a massive improvement.

Anyone new to PS should get it as its good value for them until the main games been played.

Anyone owned a PS for a while probably won't see the value now or in future.

GamePass provides the games now and going forward making it much better value.

At the end of the day Sony is a Japanese company, and they're going to do what all Japanese companies do: they're going to pretend their properties are some holy relic to protect, and they're going to nickel and dime you, constantly wondering if they're giving you too good of a deal (they aren't) while looking for ways to keep their stuff away from you.

"Hey, wow, look at all these games, look we got...wait, what's that doing there? That's TOO good of a game to put on this subscription. Here, you can have this one *plops some remaster down* there that's better right?"

At least with MS it doesn't feel like they're dicking us around, it's pretty straight forward.

Gamepass is awesome and something that doesn't get enough credit is the cloud gaming. I can hook my xbox controller to my widescreen monitor on my mac or PC (in my office) and play a few games on my break. I wouldn't want to play online shooters in the cloud, but single player games work great.
