Does anyone still care about Deep Down ?

After that hype from its first trailer which doesn't reflect how the real game looks and it being F2P from Capcom. Does anyone still give a damn about this game? I thought this pay 2 win game was canned by Capcom but I heard it was still in development. No word from Capcom recently so sorry to everyone who convince themselves it would be a good game when no one here has played it.

Capcom would probably charge some micro transaction BS for weapons.

word on the street is any game that is F2P is instantly deemed crap.

Give it a chance, if they want they can make great rpg's, just look at dragon's dogma.

Why? Chalice Dungeons, a side thing in Bloodborne is essentially what the whole Deep Down game is. I couldn't do Chalice Dungeons only in BB and that's a superior game to Deep Down. With crappy combat system we've seen in Deep Down and chalice like dungeons as the only thing offered? no thanks, please gtfo.

they always overhype things. now we hear nothing. the order, NMS, deep down, some hyped the dark sorcerer (lol since it's not a game but a tech demo), bloodborne. The only one that turned out good was bloodborne, but personally i think they all suck. I'm still waiting for that killer game for my PS4

Anyway, it had potential when it was first revealed, but the more they showed....the hype died for me. Also, it's japan only......for now at least.

I'm hoping that Capcom is reconsidering DD to be a full retail release after looking at Bloodborne.. very few random dungeons and plenty of well crafted static areas.

Probably those hyped for Deep Down are still the same people holding out for Agent and The Last Guardian.

Sony doesn't own it anymore, they sold it off. It now belongs to daybreak games.

I'll definitly try DD since it's F2P. There doesn't seem to be anything worth getting hyped over.

I know they sold SONY Online but they still could have just released the game either way. So how some way they still could have release a port... it wasnt a game that was new and in development, it was just a port....

I have loved everything I have seen from Deep Down, but the F2P system is just a puzzle for me on their part. I'd much rather pay $60 for this than some F2P constant wallet drain sapper fest.

It seems there are butthurt and desperate posts by posters with even the mention of this game, so apparently people do care. lol, there is even a frantic fanboy circle jerk in this thread where most people didn't even make much of a peep about it.

I was one of the few people to vocally hype this game, but yea, it is in limbo now so I don't talk about it much.

In my heart of hearts I'd like Capcom to not suck.

The problem is I can't like ignore all the recent Capcom suck with whatever footage we've gotten of that game. If it looked like it was building on the cool aspects of Dragon's Dogma I would be excited, but it isn't from my understanding. It just looks like ass.

A port that wasn't finished yet obviously. Daybreak will still release it at some point. it's a crappy game anyway and if you really want to play it, just plat it on PC. the minimum requirements are really small, most people have a PC that can run it.

yes, just watched gameplay after seeing this thread and althought doesn't seems vastly different from souls game it does seems fun to play.....

imagine if this whole game is indoors. my god you'd go insane playing this thing for over 3h. Huge fan of BB but i could never spend more than an hour or so in Chalice Dungeons, environment is just too damn repetitive.

The whole free to play and alternate reality theme killed it for me.

What they showed actually looked good but I hope Capcom flops with there F2P model.

I'm not exactly holding my breath. It's a F2P Capcom title that has had a lengthy delay and no announced plans for Western release. Not much there to get hyped about.

Still, if it ever shows up in the NA PSN, I'd give it a download. What little we saw and heard at the time sounded cool enough.
