Do you think Forza 6 will look better than DriveClub?

I gotta say, SW, I'm interested in Forza 6 but I don't think it comes close to DriveClub in the graphics department. I also don't think the weather effects will be as impressive as well. I'm sure Forza will be the better received game although gamer reviews for DriveClub have been positive. What say you, SW?

It has 60fps and realistic physics so this is bound to sacrifice the graphical fidelity a bit in order to accommodate the framerate and physics simulation.

I don't think it will matter, as Forza 6 will have more gameplay variety in it's left pinky toe than the entirety of 5Club.

Drive Club is a great game now. The amount of content is amazing. The game is night and day different from the launch version of Drive Club. No, its not a deep simulation, but is has some intense arcade racing and amazingly detailed and varied tracks, environments weather, daytime , night time and everything in between.

DC still looks infinitely better, much better lighting all volumetric, dynamic GI, texture, denser environment, shaders and shadowing. F6 looks like a slightly upgraded F5, it's not even in the same ballpark graphically to DC.

I don't know why people think Driveclub is a good looking game. It looks great in screenshots, but when you're playing it, it looks soulless.

I wouldn't call it "incredible" but it's much better than when it launched. A shame that sw's gumps will never know because of their fanboyism.

So much this, I mean it's not a horrible looking game, BUT the weather effects are abused in media to no end for the sole purpose of misrepresenting what it actually looks like, this is why 99/100 videos for this game are in the rain/snow.

Looks even better plus 60 fps and great gameplay.

That still looks infinitely better than the simple geometry and poor texture work on display during the forza 6 footage.

Forza runs at double the frame rate (lol 30fps Drive Club), has double the number of cars in a race, and has a physics simulation engine for the cars that makes Drive Club's look like a PS1 game.

It will not be as pretty, but it will be a significantly better game.

As many have stated, it's a silly comparison. Forza is 60fps and DC is 30fps, the fact that you're even debating that Forza could possibly look better is impressive. It's a weaker console running a game with more players and double the frame rate, it's an achievement that it looks as good as it does.

Driveclub was scored for the game it was at launch which is fair as it shipped a shadow of the current game. I think anyone that has play Driveclub in its current state would score it an 8 or higher!!

How about answering the question at hand. I never saw in the OP's initial post about DC being better than Forza 6, heck he even stated that Forza 6 will be the better received game. Stop bringing scores in a visual comparison thread, or is this just your salty way of agreeing that DC will look better than Forza 6?

Why would it? Its on a heavily inferior hardware, is 60fps which limits its visuals even more, Turd10 motto is "its all about the experience and not graphics". Forza 36 looks like a video game. 5Club looks almost real life *especially during weather racing*.

As a Die Hard fan and owner of both series( Preorded F6)

It's a solid no, DC bests Forza in the Environment Detail, Car detail, Lighting and overall presentation of visuals. Even in the Dry Drive Club is just doing more in the visuals department, which transforms even more when you add dynamic weather. Which in Driveclubs defense is fully customizable and available on every track, same for Dynamic time. Where as Forzas time change and Weather are static and only for a hall hand full of tracks out of the 26.

The Above forza Footage seems to be a Step down from Forza 5 visuals in some areas especially comparing it to a highly detailed city tracks like Prauge in F5, lighting and track details seem to have taken noticeable hits in Visual fidelity, Which is ultimately ok with me will aid better towards Forzas gameplay and keeping a steady 60 FPS @ 1080p experience. As forza is a sim, it should be focused on keeping solid gameplay in the first place.

And as for DriveClub Gameplay, People need to stop living in the past with this (5club), DriveClub is one of the best racers out today on the new gen of consoles, It's crappy launch did not hinder it's current capabilities at delivering the experience of really pushing a car around tight courses. Infact it's the only racer that turned it's self around so much from launch that it was given Re-Reviews which were 7.9 or mid 8's which is a game driveclub feels like now.

Right now, DC has 100+ cars and 40+ unique tracks.. all with dynamc time and weather. So as a person who plays a plethora of racers Across all systems, DC is right up there with the best of them.

DC is an experience that should not be missed, but people on here can't see that, or don't want to see that.
