Do you still buy and enjoy COD games?

Warriors, do you still enjoy recent COD games as Ghosts or moved onto other mp games as Destiny, Titanfall or BF 4? I personally stopped following COD after Black Ops. Stopped following COD from Modern Warfare 3 and Black Ops II. I might be wrong but i feel COD games are losing MW charm and fanbase ( average reviews, other new solid mp FPS games in market ETC ).

Ghosts was not cool though.

Ghosts was the first one I played since Black Ops 1. I might be the only one in gaming who plays the campaign and doesn't care for the MP.

Well I bought Ghosts, I did not enjoy it

I hear same thing every god damn time, and yet when game comes out, its best selling game of every year, and then you say it was bad sequel. EVERY GOD DAMN TIME.

Even statistic shows that more and more buys.

I don't even WANT to pirate COD . Let alone buying it .

I played some of Black Ops 2 at a friends house and it was grueling.

78% sure I'm not getting the latest when it comes out.

It was kinda true. Now i don't see much gamers interests in COD series ( Hence my curiosity/ thread), i've this freind on PSN total COD fanboy once, now tottally lost interest in the series lol.

@indzman: Personally i really liked COD:MW , aka COD 4 . I really really liked it.

After that i tried COD:MW 2.... A letdown. Nothing to wow about single player nor multiplayer. After that i dropped the series. It was so obvious they were trying to milk the series . So i passed that shit . My last experience with COD was MW2. Ill try something trully next-gen when it comes to COD. I wont buy their milk , no i wont. Counter Strike GO in the end of the day is all i want.

I also played upto Infinity's MW 2 and Treyarchs Black Ops. Haven't touched any after that. Sp very short,same ol mp, pricey compared to rest AAA games. Had to let go of the series. Enjoyed Battlefield Bad Company 2 most over rest COD's lol. Might pick those up in bargain bin just for the sp lol.

Never liked the treyarch garbage. Ghosts was rubbish so I pretty much went off the series until this happened

The bonus is that the game actually looks pretty good, it'll be interesting to see if sledgehammer have made it feel fresh

Played 3 through Ghost and I think Ghost was my last till the next Treyarc one(I guess next year). Ghost was awful in terms of MP and I have not really enjoyed a COD since the Black Ops ones

I'd buy this one if they were going to release a Wii U version. I freely admit this. It pains me to say it but I do enjoy the campaigns.

i would like a compilation of all the SP campaigns released since then though. nice for some mindless sunday afternoon action.

but i have no interest in the MP and they currently still charge more than im willing to pay for each game.

Anxiously waiting for my COD Advanced Warfare Atlas Edtion. Waiting for my COD Black OPS 2 Hardened edition to arrive ( Tue or Wed ? ), was going to purchase the prestige edtion but couldn't find a NIB at a decent price.

After being let down with CoD Black Ops 2 I skipped Ghosts. I will be getting Advanced Warfare though, looks great.

Same here. I usually by the CoD games on Sale, usually around the $40 dollar range or when there's a Black Friday deal.

i have never, i repeat NEVER, purchased a cod game ever. the only cod game i played is cod4 which i got of my friend for a week. the game is complete shit

The only cod i didn't buy was 4. I buy every year because of hype and hearing people talk about it.

I haven't been happy with it for a few years now. It's just updated maps for 60 bucks a year. I'm not buying it this year. I prefer battlefield over cod now. Then there is halo, spec ops, gears of war.

I'll buy it used and breeze through SP. I hate PvP shooters.

Im done with CoD. I have better shooters to play like Destiny and Halo MCC. Evolve will come out eventually as will Rainbow Six Seige, Gears of War, Halo 5 and so on. Who has time for something as worthless as a CoD game?

I've never bought a single Call of Duty game... Honestly, I don't think I've ever spent money on a shooter ever... It's not a gameplay style I enjoy.

Nah, I do it, too. Campaigns are good fun.

If I want to hear constant squeaking while I'm playing a game, I'll play Tomb Raider 2013.

You bet! Call of Duty games are extremely fun to play, what i love about CoD is how fast everything is, you go from inserting the disk to immediately to multiplayer to immediately starting the match, loading takes up to 10 seconds sometimes and i love the small maps in these games online.

i also enjoy the co-op aspect of these games like zombie mode with friends.

i did not enjoy Call of Duty: Ghosts thought the huge maps made the game really bad, CoD should always stick to smaller maps.. leave huge maps for games like bf

"still" would imply I've bought them all last gen, and thought they were quality games, but I didn't and I don't. I thought MW was decent and AW looks promising, so if I actually buy the game, it'll be the first one in many years.

I haven't bought one since MW2 but this advanced warfare has my interest.

I lose interest with each new game in the series.

I still prefer COD2 over them all.

Yeah the only COD game I enjoyed was COD 2 and Advance Warfare looks different and I like the fact that you can upgrade your character and the graphics look sick

Last CoD i bought was Modern Warfare 2...i really dislike CoD's fast paced multiplayer.

I'm going to give Advanced Warfare a chance, though, mostly or its campaign and coop modes.

Wow it's hard to believe how well the game sells yet most people here haven't played since cod 4 or maybe black ops. Goes to show you how much the opinion of gamers here matter in the grand scheme of things.

I stopped caring after World at War.

Is the single player still lengthy? I know the older ones are, but I get the impression the single player is shorter now. Any truth to this? It's a contributing factor as to why I haven't been buying them.

Last COD I bought was MW3. I borrowed all the others from friends to play the campaign once. I couldn't even finish the Ghosts campaign. I would love to play Destiny but my wifi in this CUNY residence hall sucks whale anus and I keep getting booted. Really blows. Havent even tried to bring my PS4 here. Might as well leave it at my bros house where I can stay online on the weekends.
