Do you play multiplatform games?

I just buy games, weather they are exclusive or not I don't really notice unless its hyped in your face as exclusive like sony do.

even then that would not be why I would want the game.

Haven't played a multiplatform game in years.

I was playing Modern Warfare 3 ONLINE on my awesome Wii earlier. Awesome stuff. And I was just playing Lollipop Chainsaw. GOAT.

Obviously. Some of the best games on any platform are multiplatform.

Matters which console. 360 I brought 1 exclusive all gen with Gears and loads and loads of multi plats lkke Bayonetta, vanquish, dead space 1 and 2, resident evil 5, Deus Ex etc etc etc. I brought a PS3 couple months ago in thinking I will get around to playing some of their exclusives like Uncharted, Last of Us but not got around to it and will probably buy MGS revengence and Bioshock 3 before I even get around to looking at those 2. Nintendo Wii and WiiU prety much just hss had exclusives to play with the odd game like Tekken Tag 2, Ninja Gaiden 3 RE, Darksidersn 2, AC3 etc.

I play one, maybe two multiplatform games per year.

having exclusives is part of why i buy a certain console, but certainly not the only reason. i buy games i like

If any single soul is that big a fanboy that they only buy console exclusives then I feel sorry for them. Multiplats are generally the best games.

Fanboyism aside, they really aren't. The best games on the PS3 are Valkyria Chronicles, Uncharted, and The Last of Us. The best games on the Xbox are Halo, Gears, and Forza. The best games on the Wii are Mario, Zelda, and Donkey Kong. The best games on the PC are Total War, Civilization, and Crusader Kings 2.

Every couple of years, there will be an amazing multiplat that really turns my head, like Arkham Asylum, The Last Remnant, or Assassin's Creed 2. These games are the exception, though, not the rule.

Only multiplats I've played in the last 2 years have been Dark Souls and BF3/4.

Multiplatform games not only dwarf the exclusives in quantity, but usually end up being some of the best if not the best games of any given year, so yes I play multiplatform games.

Well, i read that Wii U owners in system wars says that they don´t need multiplatform games because it´s for weak and poor people and real people playing exclusive games like Mario and Zelda.

At this moment, I shall declare that I have never for once played a multiplat. What cruel fate. I lived so many years yet I could only wave to the multiplats passing by the highway. Such sadness. I spent so much money but I could only desire the multiplats. Much emo.

I buy what I want to play don't care if it's exclusive or not, to be frank If you purposely limit yourself to exclusives they're something very wrong with you.

I never played a multiplat because they don't push their respective platforms to their limits like exclusives do.

Also, when an exclusive later gets ported to another platform I just throw it away. It just loses a bit of quality when that happens, ya know?

Yes, I play multiplats . Most big budget games these days are multiplats .

• Xbox One is for Microsoft exclusives and the vast majority of multiplatorms
• PS4 is for Sony exclusives
• PC is for exclusives and the occasional multiplatorm (The Witcher)

Playing Dark Souls 2 on a 600 dollar PC at >60fps max settings is nice. It almost makes frame drops hard to stomach on console games.

Most of my gaming hours are spent playing arcade games. Usually they get ported to consoles... and usually they run fine on consoles as well.

I play multiplatform games. After upgrading my PC's graphics card, I should be set for all multiplatform games that will miss the Wii U. Yes, there are multiplatform games available on Wii U. Yes, I buy them, even though, according to your expert analysis, I apparently only care about exclusives.

I respectfully disagree with your game choices. If I had to pick the best on PS3/360 it would have been XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Fallout: New Vegas, and Bioshock Infinite. I can't comment on gaming PC's or Ninty consoles.

But hey, we all have different tastes. The world would be a boring place if we all liked the same stuff.

Yes, Multiplatform games are essential to Gamer Needs. That's why Exclusive only Platforms like Nintendo Consoles or Origin fail so hard.

I spend more time playing sports games than anything else. I good campaign is sprinkled in here and there.

I just play too much Civ and Crusader Kings.

It makes the game harder but its still playable. In fact if you didnt know any better and only ever played the game at 60fps from the start you probably would never know. I didnt know it caused enemies to attack twice as fast until I read about it somewhere, and when I tried the game at 30 it seemed too easy so I changed it back to 60. Im not sure if it causes problems later on because I got bored of it after about 8 hours.

I think most gamers do. I play multiplat games on various platforms. It really depends on the game and who else I know will be playing the same game with me.

Of course I do. They make up the majority of games in general. I play Nintendo consoles for the exclusives and buy sony consoles for the multiplats.
