the main area in the center is the only important thing

20 vs 14 but only 18 vs 12 are enabled

10% of the 12 is reserved to kinect so in truth its 18 vs 10.8

its almost 80% more power to PS4

These are called OLT (inside the red circle) and help boost CPU performance up to 70% by increasing the efficiency of multithreading, nonetheless PS4 and XboxOne have the same CPU (as seen in photo above) but OLT units are missing from the PS4 cpu.

Nice work sony!

so we should be happy for microsoft paying a developer to restrict his game to only one platform?

the developer had to cut the game visual features almost by half, meaning it should look way better on a 80% faster GPU

so we need to buy the weaker system and be happy to buy a game that is far less than what it could be on the other system?

If you click on the photo, you will see more clear that these units are missing from the ps4 jaguar cores.

Then your EE program is really shitty. If your EE program isn't touching upon computer technology, it is frankly outdated. You could focus on power and emag, etc. whatever, and the degree should touch on that, but if your EE program isn't talking about transistors, and other microelectronics, in today's world, it's crap. I smell outdated EE program.

Where do you go to school out of curiosity?

they're basically the same thing, you're just looking at a different level. Go futher and you could be in circuit-board engineering or however specific you want to be. . Electric engineering definitely encompasses electronic engineering. Electronic engineering will be somewhere between electric and computer engineering. Computer engineering IS electrical engineering, but it focuses on the computer aspects, with a focus on some of the abstracted higher layers.

Computer Engineering is to Electrical engineering as Aerospace Engineering is to Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science is to Chemical Engineering. It's the same stuff, just a focus. I'm really astounded you do not know this.

Still I'm curious: again, where do you go to school!!!!?!?!? i wanna knowwww

I assume you, like the majority of the other posters on this forum, are a mindless fanboy with whom logic and facts have essentially zero merit or pull. Well, your initial post proves this point so there really is no assumption necessary.

None the less, I'm going to provide a link to an interesting article that directly negates everything you just stated.

It does have some big words in it though, so be careful.

Word of advice for all the hardcore fanboys on this forum...wait until E3 2014 to declare which console has "teh bettar graphix!"

Well you're obviously a freshman, chose to ignore all options related to stuff like this, or are in a shitty program. EEs in my school can get a minor in VLSI...
