Do we care about Black Flag?

At first I was like hell yeah a game with Pirates!!! hype is over 9000!!!!, then I see Assassin's Creed in the title, now I have 0 desire to buy/play that game.

I thought I was excited until the last couple videos I saw. The game is an obvious "Press A to WIN" game. Not interested in games that are this easy.

So has there been any previews or hands on the PS3/360 builds of this game? It seems like everything is focused on the next gen versions to make the game look good. I won't be picking up a PS4 for some time so I'm more interested in knowing how it runs on PS3...

After AC3 I lost a lot of hope for the franchise. This one does look good, but something about it just doesn't feel quite right to me (it reminds me of AC3 is some ways). I care about it, as in, I want to see how well it does. If it does well, I'll pick it up, if not, oh well. I still haven't finished AC3.

The setting interest me... but i'm kinda burnt out on the serie so, not worth 60$.

Maybe when the price is reduced eventually.

I have enjoyed the Assassin Creed series, but I think fatigue is sitting in..... As much as I like the pirate setting I have 0 interest.

I won't be getting it until the price drops.

Skipped Revelations, thought 3 was ok. Black Flag will probably be like AC3's Brotherhood. Kind of improved, but holy shit will you feel sick of the damned thing by the end. Getting the PC version, reckon I can stuff one more down before it feels like it'd just make me barf. If it wasn't for the piratey stuff I probably wouldn't have bothered.

I still need to buy AC3. Waiting til I can get it for $5 off Steam. WIll do the same with Black Flag.

I'm a bit apprehensive because it's from the Far Cry team, but it looks great from the footage that's been released. I just hope the PS3 version turns out fine.

It looks good to me. I'm definitely going to pick it up when I get a PS4. The problem I have isn't caring about Black Flag, it's caring about next generation consoles, so I won't be picking up Black Flag anytime soon.

I don't care. I was tempted to buy AC3 for $13 on Steam but decided against it.
