Ok, I just called Xbox customer support spent atleast ten minutes for the guy who could barely speak english to tell me that the 3 year warrenty did not cover my specific harware failure... Because the 3 year warrenty only covers the 3 rings of death while i only had one ring of death.

So the repair cost is going to be 99.99 Canadian dollars :(

Just lie and tell them its 3 rings, they dont check and if they do and call you back, tell them when you sent it in it was dooing 3 rings and that you wont pay because when you sent it in it was 3 rings. They will belive that. Dont waste your money on repairs.

agreed i had a dvd problem and i said it was 3 rings they're giving me a new xbox! seriously its on it way, i miss it :'(
