Everything DMC fans complained about and that both Capcom and Ninja Theory arrogantly dismissed with: "DMC fans are mad because of the hair", that's what they are now using to justify the existence of this cash grab.
Man the hypocrisy is staggering.

**** these fucking bitches.
I hate capcom now so much, they used to be so damn amazing too it's a real shame. Ninja theory is straight trash.
Still doesn't change the lame tacked on platforming sections and other issues. DMC wasn't a platformer, and I like platformers, but not when they are wonky and glitchy. The artistic direction was incredibly gross which includes the level art and disgusting boss designs. It wasn't a bad game, but it was a bad Devil May Cry game. I'm a purist though and I know my opinion is polarizing so whatevs.
The Hideki Kamiya created masterpiece was 60fps on PS2. DMC3 was another great PS2 game at 60fps. These westerners took the DMC license and just didn't know what DMC fans wanted. We wanted the smoothness of a 60fps fighting game and the game didn't have it. DMC was never centered around platforming either. It was annoying on many fronts. Even the previous Devil May Cry 4, run at 60 FPS on PS360 consoles. Devil May Cry 4 was built with Capcom's MT Framework engine, while Ninja was using Epic's Unreal Engine 3. This engine swap contributes to the 30 FPS cap. 30FPS is fine for most console games, but DMC was created back in 2000 with that fighting game edge in mind. To move away from the bar setting high frame rate standard the series was known for, as a longtime fighting gamer, was disappointing because this game, like fighters, centers around combos. The point is, don't introduce something centered around frame rate being the selling point only to remove it later and add in janky platforming. It was like an adventure game starring an alternate universe Dante.
"We were limited a little bit by the (Unreal 3) engine capabilities."
DMC was easy as hell too with auto parries, combos, and everything else.
I beat this new disappointing entry in the DMC series once and that's good enough for me.
But it was always 60 fps.... Some good boss fights in that game. I liked the story and universe too. It gets knocked for platforming and simplicity, but I still enjoyed the game.
Sooo, what I got from this video is that:
-Those two chicks banged. (scissored, what have you...)
-The one on screen right regrets it.
-The one on screen left wants more.
@ConanTheStoner: Haha! Holy shit. Had to watch the video after you said that. I got that impression within the first 10 seconds.

That's a bold statement.
Yep. Congratulations on demonstrating your keen power of observation...again.

Besides sounding like a broken record for quite some time, this behavior comes off as creepy-stalkerish too.
I was one who ragged on and on about the game before it's release.
Then I played it, and while it's not in the same tier as DMC3 or DMC4, it's an enjoyable game that shows that Ninja Theory understood the material they were working with (the humour, Dante's attitude and story/setting), and with Capcom's help, pulled off a good DMC game.

Wait, was this game not 60fps on consoles? I've only played it on PC because I got it on sale. DMC pretty much demands 60fps so that's pretty shocking. Also, why in the hell are they remaking this game? Yet another "remaster" for our new consoles. Such originality we've seen since they were released....

Lol what?
Anyway, I'm keen to try DMC... I've never played them before. Look cool.

You two can both blame me, I couldn't make them two hot chicks in time.

No complaints here, my divine bro. You've populated the lands with more fine snatch than I could possibly take for myself and for that I am grateful. I understand there must be a balance in all things and that you can't truly appreciate the fine without the fugly.
Always wanted to know though, am I going to Costco when I die?

Need some cranberry Juice? Works wonders
The game was already 60 faps on PC, it was mediocre. It's combat engine was limiting in terms of what it could do, it was less strict in its scoring, and above all else the actual level design, encounters, enemies, and boss fights are all underwhelming or outright atrocious. The combat engine (which is good all things considered, not DMC3/4 Top tier mind you) is the least of that game's problems, it's the shit surrounding the combat is middling at best.
I hate capcom now so much, they used to be so damn amazing too it's a real shame.
For my money the best at one point, at worst they were 2nd easily competing with Nintendo's group for how much talent was under one umbrella. Now they are a joke.
The game was fun, but there's no way I will pay for it again for a bump in the FPS. I don't really remember it lagging when I played it the first time. Anyway I'll wait until it is free on PS+ a few months after it's release. Then maybe I'll take a second run through.
Of course it is since the Achilles heel of ninja theory was high input lag, which was also present in Enslaved so that doesn't surprise me. How much is this remaster, tho?

The only thing that was pretty shitty were the Boss fights. I don't see how stuff like the level design and enemy encounters were bad. It's some of the most creative game design that came out of 2013.
@jg4xchamp:
Actually the Combat and Boss Fights were much much better with the exception of the 1st Boss... That Big Guy at the end.... and Bob Barbus.....
Thanks to the new Layout you can actually do a whole lot more with the combat.... mind you in DMC3 you could only change styles and weapons inbetween mission and in DMC4 Nero has no styles and Dante's controls were to unituitive to change styles in Real Time that plus the other Demon Arms like Gilgamesh and Lucifer didn't have enough moves to use them exclusivesly...... the only thing DmC didn't get right was The Gun Slinging..... DMC4 had gun slinging in Spades.
As for The Difficulty..... just go to the mission menu and change it.
The artistic direction was incredibly gross which includes the level art and disgusting boss designs.
Are you serious?
DMC was such a great game. Blows my mind how much gamers bitched over a new character model.
I really enjoyed my time with the game. Splendid stuff.
@parkurtommo:
The level design and style are incomparable.... they are different and he simply doesn't like DmC's stlye but he's right about the way The Bosses Looked.... DMC4's bosses looked far more interesting..... thats just how they look.... even Dark Souls has some awesome looking Bosses but the actual Boss Fights were Tedious and uninteresting..... DmC's Bosses (ugly as they were) were atleast interesting to fight... I especially liked the Secret Ingtedient and its slight empasis on Platforming.....

No it is not, having a bunch of random platforms in mid air that you pull to you with a whip is not creative, and its over abundance to set those sequences up because that's their version of "crazy" is massively underwhelming when you compare it to shit Capcom was doing with DMC3 and 4, or shit Platinum's doing at this point. Otherwise what actual creative thing did it have to offer? the disco ball area? It was cosmetically interesting, but it was the same dull arenas as the rest of the game, except now you play on a giant light bright.

Game has zero coop. Your opinion is invalid. #GetRekt
Rehash gen
But i thought last gen peasants said 1080p and 60 fps didn't matter, now they rebuy their games just to have a taste of some master race features.

hydro weed must be gud
Well, I actually enjoyed it better than Lords of Shadow. It was a nice effort, but it's better to leave the franchise alone for a long time now.

@jg4xchamp:
I never said it did have Co-Op.... wana try again ?
it has more with the already known and accepted fact that your posts are garbage, do not thank me, just clarifying as part of community service.
@jg4xchamp:
Also who cares if the Grappling Mechanic is not creative (even though it was).... the point is it was good and implemented properly.... also I find this argument hypocritical.... what was so creative about DMC 3 and 4 ? Let me guess.... Nero's Devil Bringer ?
As for The Night Club they had they had moving colour changing floors..... it may not be that creative but what type of floors did DMC4 have ? Just normal floors.... nothing noteworthy about them.
