"nobody wins"
or.... everyone who buys the game and enjoys it wins...
i think it's pretty fun...it plays like a Battlefield game, and they accomplished more of a 'spin off' vibe than an 'expansion' vibe, which is probably what they going for.
Nobody wins the face off
Big surprise, the PlayStation 4 is pushing a higher resolution at the cost of framerate, turn the damn page. This is an FPS, framerate is of paramount importance... I couldn't care less if it were 480p, if it's running better it's the better version of the game.
The Xbox One version of Hardline is the best console version to play and no herd of cow nonsense will ever change that...
Between X1 and PS4, X1 runs better while PS4 looks better??? When is the X1 version having better performance gonna end???
it'll end when you and everyone who owns both stop buying multiplats on ps4
720p is shit my xbox 360 does 720p
ps4 does 900-1080p i havent seen a single one at 720p
the graphics card in the ps4 is better and it has better ram
more dirt more grass more plant life an runs the game smoother = ps4
get fucking used to it its console eight gen leader
its played by every bro now and its every core gamers prefer prefrence
its got good exlcuisves like blood borne coming out every couple of months and it catored to the core like ive never seen before
xb1 i hope is the last time microsoft chases casuals an focus on core ppl instead of tv ppl
I haven't seen any framerate issues on the Xbox One version, it's good to know it runs overall smooth on paper, because it's a fast paced game so this was a good call on the dev's part, I would have hated 900p with lower framerates(and I'm not saying that to take a jab at the PS4 version....I don't know how significant the differences are in terms of framerates) , and this kind of game is not about looks, it about insane gameplay. Love the game, glad I didn't skip it, and the campaign is great! I can't believe they put one of the main actors of one of my favorite TV shows ever(The Shield)...the guy who plays the Captain of the barn is in the game. Great music too. Ok I'm done plugging the game, what can I say I think it's great.....ok moving along.
here we go again...
The xbox one version also drops and DF softening the blow, both version drops the PS4 drops more consistently in some parts,in other they perform the same and in some the PS4 perform better.
But no matter what always the xbox one is behind resolution wise,so some times the PS4 is behind frame wise some times the xbox one is behind and most of the time they are the same, yet resolution wise that is now the case..lol
Also lol 720p @blackace@StormyJoe
Framerate > Resolution. Gameplay > Graphics.
Both drop frames...lol
and 720p on 2015...Hahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa But but but the new SDK...
I seriously feel bad for people who bought the console in 2013 for 500 bucks hoping for a proper next gen experience.
720p in 2015 is just embarassing.

It's only the beginning. How things work is that developers will progressively exchange resolution for better effects, textures, shaders, etc.
Happened last gen, will happen this gen. Half the effects in games are blur-inducing anyways (The Order anyone?), so when it comes between the choice of better, blurrier graphics and worse, sharper graphics - developers won't see any good reason to pump out 1080P titles anymore.

It's also worth mentioning that PS4 and X1 versions are virtually identical apart from resolution. One other thing to consider is Visceral's reassurance that there was no problem in hitting 1080p on Xbone.
Looks lame. ....Haven't framerate issues been rectified with patches? F these patches though--all these games stuck on strict release schedules.

You butthurt! hahahahahha
lmao StormyJoke denying 500,000 extra pixels as usual. What a card.
95% 60fps on both consoles and permanent reduced resolution on the Xbone. That's the situation.
Between X1 and PS4, X1 runs better while PS4 looks better??? When is the X1 version having better performance gonna end???
Considering most games perform better on the PS4, it has.
Your Segadrone nonsense never fails to amuse. Xbone takin' over 2015, just you wait and see!

Dear Stupid,
First off, if you are going to talk about me, have the fucking balls to link my name, you little chickenshit.
Secondly, the PS4 has it's own problems with the game.
Thirdly, it's only 20% more pixels. While there may be a noticeable difference between 1080p and 720p, 720p vs 900p or 900p vs 1080p - not so much.

No is 50%.
Our Battlefield 4 Face-Off preview reveals a 50 per cent resolution boost on PlayStation 4.
BF4 was 900p and the XBO version was 720.
720p = 921,600
900p = 1,440,000
Gap 518,400 pixels that is more than half the pixels in 720p reason why the gap is account for as 50% but in reality is more than 50% more like 55%.
You take away 518,400 pixels from 720p and you basically land on standard definition so stop pretending it doesn't matter.
Oh really.?
The XBO version some times is ahead most of the time is on par and some times is behind in frames.
On resolution the xbox one is always behind, that pixel crawl isn't going any where on 720p.
ROFL looks like PS4 needs to be 720p in order to get closer to 60fps.
Considering this game is screw up even on PC i say all it needs is just attention from developers.

You're alright, chuck.
Alas, the PS4 has its own issues with the game. They're few compared to the permanent issue the Shitbox has with its GPU.
And yes, it's 500,000 pixels. Spin harder.
