GameStop and EB Games stores began accepting limited pre-orders for the Nintendo Wii console on Friday, October 13, on a first come, first served basis. Due to extremely high demand and limited availability, most stores reached their pre-order limit within minutes.
Why would you even bother wasting your time looking at pictures of people pre ordering a console? :lol: ----- Thats a very unusual way to admitt you made a rash baseless statement...

actually where i live there wasnt. my dad was one of the first there. And he said most were adults. I would have gone but my dad didnt want me to miss any school (im a Senior). but w/e doesnt matter to me i got 8th in line and they have 14 so im good.
At the gamestop where I got my pre-order, literally everyone in our line was over 18 with the exception of one kid with his dad whom looked to be about 13.
Gamestop/EB is not a large retailer. Infact they are very small compared to Wal-Mart, Shopko, and Target. Those big retail chains will get the highest alocations of units. Gamestop/EB only gets a small amount due to their size.
1. They did sold out within minutes 2. They arent the only stores preorderings so the 2 mils havent been preordered yet 3. Some stores got 30-35 wii units, some got around 15(the smallest ones) 4. You were trying to prove that noone would get Wii, yet you got selfowned
Anyway, I didn't see you here on the forums on presell day talking about how your store still had them available. You fail. I live in a rural backwater town and every gamestop and EB in every direction sold out quickly.
thats actually the estimate my Gamestop told me they would have... however people really dont understand what they meant by 2 million. For one thing it is a rumor, and for another thing those units cover the entire continent of North America, meaning the US, Canada, and Mexico. The U.S. will probably get about 1 million
not only north america, also south america are getting NA wiis on lauch day(worldwide launch FTW) but the market is so small here that it wont take many units away
