Did anyone think the PS4 would cause this much envy?

I'm really envious of that 7. I may get a PS4 someday, but not until great exclusives are out, which is not now. Getting any console at launch is simply foolish, unless you are gunning primarily for the multiplats and don't have a PC.

Killzone was hyped an 8 despite cows claiming it was the next Half Life and praising it for months. Hyping it an 8 was already a spineless thing to do and the fact that it got a 7 + they can't even attempt to fall back on metacritic just makes it all the more hilarious

I've said for a long time they are going to flop. With that being said though, the Xbox One games are going to flop as well. Don't act like any of those games are the next Halo CE. They are all going to be mediocre shit.

What's sad though is how people will buy at launch and expect games to be good. They are rushed, made from early dev kits, unfamiliar with the tech, etc. You can also bet the budgets are small as well since launch games generally don't sell a lot of copies. They really aren't meant to do anything besides hold over the fanboys and impulse shoppers. To base your purchase decision off of a launch is pathetic.

Turn 10 has never made a mediocre game, and so far Killer Instinct has been mostly positive based on what the FGC has stated, so once again you show that you don't know what the hell you're talking about. Who said that they were going to be the next Halo CE? I sure as hell didn't and I haven't seen anyone else here state this either.
