Developers that do you no wrong.

System Warriors! Name a Developer that has done you no wrong in any game they made.

For me it's Wayforward.

every game they have made recently has been pure gold to me. There is just not a single game in their library I could say is a legitimately bad game. (maybe Smurfs 2...but I didn't care for it.)

From "accidentally" finding them with Mighty Flip Champs, to A Boy and His Blob, to Shantae Risky's Revenge, to Duck Tales, Mighty Switch Force 1&2 ...and heck even the Adventure Time games they made. I can't find anything bad about these games.

They're not "Perfect" or 10/10s or whatever, but for what the games are they aren't "terrible"

Is there a developer like this for you guys?

Bungie until Density arrived, now, I dunno maybe, maybe R*.eh, not really, none I guess.

GTA III, GTA: Vice City, GTA: San Andreas, GTA IV, GTA V. Rockstar North is my epitome of a video game developer.

I really appreciate developers that trying something new every new generation than playing safe , maybe they failing more than others but at least they trying to bring something new. For example Naughty Dog last gen nailed it with their New Ips.

Problem is I've never played every game from a single developer. They all have that one Shitty Game !

Every studio that's made a good amount of games has one i don't like that much.

Rockstar has LA Noire

Valve has Condition Zero and DOTA 2.

Make enough games i've played, and sooner of latter i'll find one i didn't feel.

Im not praising any developer like that, but Playground is making noise.

Or Sometimes your favourite developer Sells out and makes an Exclusive game on a platform you don't have.... Hell I get pissed off if they make a game an a platform thats not currently connected to the Tele.

Well, uh. I guess my favorite answer would be "thatgamecompany". See, most devs that have only made good games play it pretty safe, like they're making pretty normal games, right? Well not TGC, and yet they still succeed with every one of them.

Bethesda and Rockstar.

I consider Retro Studios the pinnacle of game design. Their attention to detail and overall brilliance is untouched. They've also never released an unfinished product then shove DLC down our throats or employ exclusive store pre-orders.

They have a perfect track record and just "get it"

No, I'm suggesting doing anything at all that the fans don't want is them doing wrong by the fans.... Like seriously, anything at all ! Even changing the Font of the title in a Remake of a Classic Game.

Bioware. I didn't play da2, so no disappointment for me. Naughty dog too. TLOU is in my top 3 easily.

No game is perfect

No one is perfect but Valve is a lot better and most clean .

Valve, and especially CD Project Red. CD Project continuously improves upon their games for years after release, and release DLC for free. Also, no copy protection. I love those policies, and I love their wonderful games that treat you like an adult instead of going for the mass market.

so far, so good.

In the end they all disappoint here and there.....

Rocksteady (last gen onward), Naughty Dog, Epic (to a degree), Rockstar, Sucker Punch to name a few.

Platinum has hits and misses, and Nintendo has a lot of hits, but some misses as well.

I haven't played every game from Firaxis/Sid Meier, but I've never played a bad game from that group.

I can't think of any other dev out there that has "never" disappointed me. Most devs have streaks in their underpants.

aside from DS 2 which has it's issues *still a good game* This is what I would go with too.

Hardly a fair question since developers that are less adventurous are more likely to be consistent.

I never expect a dev to not let me down. Eventually every dev screws up and fades away.

Naughty Gods, Atlus and CD Projekt are probably the only ones worth mentioning.

Everyone seems to forget Jak X Combat Racing. That was a lame game.

Outside of Ninja Blade, Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor, Evergrace, Enchanted Arms, and Eternal Ring, right?

Atlus. Most all of their games are solid, and most all appeal to me.
