I have seen TitanFall and it is good. All the hoopla surrounding it is mainly based on how mad cows get when it is mentioned.

Xbox fanboys really don't have much in the way of exclusive titles. The only reason this game is getting hype from fanboys is that it isn't on the PS4. The game looks good but nothing spectacular.

If this game was exclusive to the PS3/PS4/PC, then Sony faboys would be exploding the hype for it too. If it was on every platform, there would still be hype but it would be a lot less.

The awards and attention it's getting are only justified by...the awards and attention it's getting. Even lems know the game does nothing different and I'M NOT SAYING THIS IS A BAD THING AT ALL...I just wanted to know what was so special and where all the awards were coming from, and apparently it's just from the game looking fun according to lemmings, to which I say touche. I only asked cause I thought I was missing something.

To me it feels like the industry is hyping it a bit more than people. That may be because the next-gen version is Xbox One exclusive and in general the internet has taken a negative position against the Xbox One and PC gamers don't really care about the game.

The game looks fun and innovative with its seamless mix of mech combat, infantry combat, and high flying acrobatics, but it does looks like it's still based around traditional shooting and will eventually grind to an inevitable grind of killing mindless enemies or having to deal with the same multiplayer BS that all FPS games have to deal with.

There is nothing real game changing about it, nothing next-gen feeling. A game like No Man's Sky has peaked my interest far more due to how it's approaching its very unique genre.

People have said this multiple times in this thread along with all the media outlets granting awards and stating how great it is after previewing it, and TC doesn't seem to think it's a legitimate reason for people to be hyped/excited/interested in the game.

If I remember Brink had more issues than just that. Respawn made COD4 so I have some faith that they can put out a good MP game. Plus, Brink didn't have mechs or jetpacks!

cod 4 was one of my favorite games, hell I competed in it for 5-6 years and still play from time to time, but I do not see any potential in Titanfall

mechs and jetpacks aren't a game changer for me when the game is unappealing to look at it in general, resembles too much of Battlefield

although they did make MW2, which was a sack of shit...although still better than brink

Problem is, those reasons are mostly swayed by it being on their platform of choice. Can't think for a second that all these rabid Lems would buy a PS4 for Titanfall if that would have been the platform instead. Most people here aren't even fans of the actual games. Not everyone's a fanboy, you know. I'm not bashing Infamous or The Order or the next Uncharted game and none are coming for my Xbox One. The interest a lot of us have in TitanFall is general interest based on reading and watching previews and hearing from tons of people in the industry express their experiences with the game hands-on and how excited they are. Titanfall is a montser game for the One, but Halo 5, Forza Horizon 2, Project Spark, Fable Legends 4 player co-op online rpg, Sunset Overdrive, Quantum Break, and Black Tusks game are coming. Its not like One gamers will have a lack of games on the way.

I'm a PC gamer, and I think the game looks fun and I am looking forward to it. There are a fair number of people that aren't swayed by fanboy bullshit

I'm no lem, but the jumping around on the sides of buildings and from building to bulding in a CoD type control scheme with mechs and people jumping and flying around you looks pretty awesome. On top of that, the people that make it have a great track record. Then there is the fact that every person who plays it, raves about it. The game has won so many awards already and it isn't even out yet. It is constantly winning game of the show at events. In Japan where shooters don't sell, the game got people raving about it. You can act like the game isn't anything special, but in reality, it is. It doesn't matter if it's exclusive, it's still going to be a great game. I don't own a Xbox One, and I do own a PS4 before I am called a Lem or fanboy. I'll most likely play this on PC.

Not gonna lie, I've been primarily a PS gamer since generation 7, before that, a "Shemming", while my PS2 collected dust. Before that SNES and Genesis were my favs.

I gotta admit, Titanfall DOES look fantastic and a lot of fun. I wish they would port this over to PS4, really.

Beyond my initial post in this thread (which TC ignored), I think the game looks to be a lot of fun. The accolades speak for themselves, more than TC's rather frivolous opinion.

This. It's why they won't hype Destiny, which you think they would because it looks like the better game and it's made by the same developer that game them their best IP in Halo. But because it's going to be on PS4 too they suddenly don't care too much.
