That's not bad. 600,000+ is not far from Killzone SF's 730,000 naked sales. I would say this means that this will be an entertaining console war indeed.

but dont the casual buyers know killzone scored 7 and dead rising scored 7? both should be selling equally, how is this happening, it makes no sense. im guessing 550,000 of those sales came on black friday aka international m$ day

Actually Forza 5 is a very good game. It didn't flop like Knack and KZ:SF. Also, KZ:SF is the only exclusive game worth getting for the PS4, so of course it will sell well. When there's nothing else to buy, everyone will buy KZ:SF.

Whatever the case, hardware and software are selling well for both PS4 & XB1. This is all good news for gamers, retailers and 3rd party developers who want to release games on both systems. Doesn't help the Wii U much though.

i agree sales are sales in general. but the forced bundles do mean people could have purchased it just so they'd get a PS4 (remember on amazon the barebones PS4 was sold out and people were forced into bundles) by that logic kinect adventures outsold GTA5 and lets face it. 25 million people were not buying that game lol.

Well it does have an 80 MC score. You trying to say an 80 is bad or a flop? The only reason the game didn't get 9s across the board is because it lacked as many cars and tracks as the previous Forzas. I'm sure that had everything to do with being rushed by MS.

Good numbers for what I consider to be a niche game and franchise. Dunno if the publisher considers them good, but I consider them around what I'd expect.

Congrats to Capcom and MS. KZSF still sold a million though regardless if whether it was bundled or not OP. Nobody makes a distinction between bundled and unbundled in real life, a sale is a sale.

Solid sales overall for a 3rd party launch title. Numbers should be a good deal higher now since the 600k figure does not take into account digital purchases. DR3 is awesome overall, did not really notice any technical issues with the game, framerate pretty smooth throughout.....zombie count is off the charts lol......only gripe is when I am playing nobody joins me, I always have to do the joining.

Because racing games aren't just 'any' genre. A lot more people would've liked an rpg or a shooter than a racing game or a fighter. If a solid exclusive rpg scored a 9, way more people would've gave a shit, this, tho, is just a racer.

Both games are pretty awesome so good on them. DR3 is so addicting once you level up a bit. Didn't care too much for the KZ campaign but the multiplayer is still great. The warzone concept still works great a few KZ's later.
