I don't think many people hyped it. In terms of overall hype, nothing on these boards, or in general, received the hype that Killzone did. I remember when E3 went out, showing off Killzone and all the Sony Fanboys considered the 'war over'.

Decent score, just as good as KZ:SF apparently.

Is the usual charade that anything under 9 is a flop,which i most say has been more use by lemmings here.

They gave Killzone the same thing. So, fine with me. Dead Rising 3 was behind Ryse, and Forza in terms of desire.

Lol at cows, DR3 with all it's framerate issues and graphical glitches managed to equal SONY's flagship title in scores, both the lems AND the cows have been owned by this one, good times,lol

As they both scored the same on gamespot I think that metacritic should come into play here despite DR3 technically not flopping due to no hype thread.

Seems no Xbone games have any hype threads.

@Tighaman: I was surprised to see how well Zoo Tycoon was received. I love the franchise on PC so it's great to see how it made a nice transition.

and locks it at 30fps.

7 is a very reasonable score for Dead Rising 3 so I cant wait to get my hands on it on the 22nd.

Yes, but unlike you, I am not trying to downplay the hype there was for Killzone like you are with DR3. There was plenty of hype from cows for Killzone (I personally never had an interest in Killzone...lol FPS on consoles), but plenty of Lems hyped DR3 and yes here.

Because the vast majority are pro Sony anti Microsoft. Games don't matter at all, only the system they are on.

So the haters have been owned and gamers won, the game's locked at 30 FPS now. Just enjoy the game instead of calling it a flop when no one even created a hype thread it to begin with.

Considering the game has probably been developed with 360 in mind and then switched to Xbox One, that's nothing to be ashamed of.

IGN's video review (curiously absent here at GS) is really interesting. It's not the prettiest game, but the sheer number of zombies is pretty cool. I think 7 seems pretty fair from the video, but that's my distanced, layman's opinion.

Actually both consoles have plenty of good games, they're only bad games if you think 8/10 is the cut off point for a game being worth playing.
