I play most of the fps campaign since i only play a couple multiplayer fps and i must say it has been a while since i had so much fun in a fps, the game is just great. For anyone remotely interested in shadow warrior you should get it.
I might back that statement. Shadow Warrior (the reboot). Is likely the best current gen gen only shooter, and while it may not say much (tbh we have very few fps games that does not appear in last gen platforms). It IS a very solid game.
One that remembers that FPS games could be about fun. Granted I think Wolfenstein the new blood might only be for current gen only, and while a stand alone expansion, I consider it to Count. So I would pick those two as contenders.
I would say Wolfenstein: The Old Blood. It takes everything the New Order did and refines it so that it plays better and is just an overall fun FPS experience. Some of the most fun I have had. Plus the graphics are much more detailed if you care about them. No multiplayer but the SP is so good it doesn't need it.
Wolfenstein: The New Order, admittedly I have yet to play Shadow Warrior past the first half, but The New Order was pretty rad on premise of dual wielding automatic shotguns. I've always enjoyed the way Starbreeze does first person games, and New Order (effectively ex starbreeze developers) was no exception in that regard.
That said, and I haven't played it yet, but my money is on Killing Floor 2 being legit as ****. The ballistics in the original Killing Floor are an absolute joy, and the sequel looks like it's even more satisfying with all that blood. All of it being rolled up into some quality coop action at 30 bucks, and with SDK's out for easy community maps. Yeah that game should be the real deal.
I just got done with Wolfenstein New Order so that by default. The only reason it took me so long to play it was I wanted a digital copy but the digital price was $60 while the retail version was $25 so I broke down and got the disc version against my preference for digital. I really enjoyed it and immediately thereafter paid for Old Blood once I got done with 1000/1000'ing it.
I was in the same boat with Shadow Warrior, want to get it digitally too, it's only $30, but they have it on disc at retail for $20 and though I'd really prefer digital I think I'll get the disc version soon.
Anyhow, Wolfenstein New Order for me, either that or Far Cry 4 are kind of it. They're not next gen only but they were designed to release on next gen consoles with cringe-worthy last gen ports. 8th gen re-release / remakes though I think my love for Metro 2033 / Last Light surpasses my enjoyment of either Wolfenstein New Order or Far Cry 4.
Oh wait, what am I talking about, I nearly forgot, Alien Isolation, how could I almost forget. When I got my Xbox One last Black Friday it was the first 8th gen title I wanted to play as I was a huge Alien fan. And I was worried about the badmouthing the game got, but I really enjoyed it. Maybe I'm just blinded since I had pretty much gamed on the 3DS XL and Wii U for the year and a half prior. But I really think it was a great experience.
Anyhow, still need to play a few titles I picked up on sale but haven't gotten to, Wolfenstein Old Blood, Outcast, Halo MCC, Titanfall, Battlefield 4. If I can get through half that, then I'll pick up Shadow Warrior.
Huh, haven't really played many next gen fps. I really enjoy Titanfall, but I feel that doesn't count since it was also ported to the 360. Still needs a single player though, the universe and story could have been bitchin.

My friend, while I may think that you are troll, I am inclined to agree with your assessment, but even as a culturally retarded white, cis-het/ableist man, I can't deny that I found certain aspects of the game to be racially insensitive and quite "problematic."
I feel that the members of the Eastern European studio responsible for the Shadow Warrior reboot should be forced to perform seppuku via Twitch.
It's clearly the only way to restore order to the SJW universe.
