Shenmue is actually pretty transparent in that respect as it's pretty much right there on the Kickstarter page. Judging by how Japanese games sell like shit on Xbone, sells like shit in Japan and the rest of Europe together with all sorts of goodies announced by Square for playstation(Nier 2 exclusive etc) it's not really much of a brainer to know that it isn't coming. Couple this with Kagari(a mod on 'Gaf, who has a contact within square AND who was confident and adamant about Rise of the tomb raider coming to PS4, now vindicated) has said that Sony has both of these games on lock down with a slim possibility of Xbox maybe getting a whiff of these games next generation which right now is nYears away.

There are literally no grounds whatsoever to even think that an Xbone version is passively confirmed there is genuinely no basis or ground work laid. If there is one, then well, crow for tea for me. For tomb raider all the arrows pointed towards there being a PS4 version as time progressed, with the FF7 there are no arrows pointing anywhere for Xbone.

Your question was what does Sony have coming until 2016. Whether the games are going to be good or not was not part of your question. Rare replay is 2015, so is gears Ultimate, TR, and Forza 6. QB is TBA, KI Season 3 has a release date? Sea of Thieves* and and Scalebound are TBA 2016. So out of that list there's only four games coming out for the Xbox One. Add Halo 5 and you got 5 games. The rest don't have release dates.

Sony's list is actually larger lol. Better is another matter.

You can't pull this when the context of ALL debates involving the two line-ups have been retail AAA games this whole time. With sometimes possible AAA digital only game (usually not indies outside few exceptions) can't go and change the rules randomly now.

Also, I included no indies on Xbox and you did so of course Sony's list would be larger in that case.

Personally I never liked TR reboot. I never felt connected with the characters or story. In cutscenes it showed how much Lara struggling to survive but end of the cutscene I have enough weapons and bullet to start one man army, even in hardes difficulty.

I'm honestly much more excited for Uncharted 4 but I guess that makes me a cow or is it lemming. Ugh.....this s**t is so confusing.

I share your opinion. It was a decent game, but certainly had its flaws. Not excited about the second one. I'm getting it for PC when it's discounted.

I'm not saying TR reboot was horrible game or anything it just not type of game I would go out of my way to buy console just so I can play it. But I did buy WiiU to play Bayonetta 2 and I was not dissapointed and thanks to that I can look forward to Xenoblade X and Fatal Frame 5.

Obviously in the context of the thread, console exclusive, which is why I added No mans sky as well. Gears Ultimate is on PC. TR is a timed exclusive. If you want to make this into a true exclusive debate, then the Xbox will still lose. Since only Halo 5 and Forza 6 fit the bill.

I didn't ignore your first question, you've been in threads, there are threads in the front page, and almost every conversation about sony vs. MS line-ups has been AAA retail games with few exception. MS is paying for X1 marketing/publishing. SE is also publishing. MS was NEVER sole publisher.

And that's why it is coming to PS4 for that reason alone.

Still, for Microsoft to have published a game, most would think that they would have more control over which platforms it went to.

Well since the game was initially announced multi plat the most they could do was throw some money at SE for a timed exclusive. SE and Sony are fairly tight so I would have been surprised if it hadn't been released on the PS4.

No it isn't. Microsoft is not funding this game like Sony funded Bloodborne and only delusional Xbox fanboys believed that was the case. This game was getting made without Microsoft's help and it would have been multiplat from day one. They approached SE not the other way around.

I predicted that PS4 would beat Xbox One in June, Ryse and DR3 would hit PC, Order would suck, Bloodborne would sell better than SSOD and that RoTR would be published by MS ONLY on Xbox while SQEnix publishes elsewhere.

It has nothing to do with funding or which publisher got there first. Game exclusivity can be just as easily bought from a developer. Microsoft has done that nonsense plenty of times and considering how weak their exclusive lineup is everyone thought they would be crazy to not cease the opportunity to make ROTR exclusive or at least Xbox1/PC.

I have no interest in this game so I don't care either way. Anyway, you have to appreciate that this was a big surprise to some people, deluded lem or not.

I thought the last Tomb Raider was a great game. I'm looking forward to it, and I think its great that it will go to more platforms for more gamers to enjoy it.

The same could be said for SFV as well. Sony isn't the sole publisher for that game either, as Capcom is also publishing it. Sony helped fund it, just like Microsoft helped fund TR. Sure TR is coming to the PS4, but a full year later. Same thing happened to games like Tales of Vesperia, Enchanted Arms and Eternal Sonata and those games didn't do so well on the PS3 8-12 months later. By the time TR hits the PS4 the GOTY version will be out on the XB1 for $29.99. MS needs to stop buying timed exclusive games and just purchase the developers and the game rights. RARE was a good purchase, but they should have bought SEGA a long, long time ago.

What bizarre comparisons. Enchanted Arms and Eternal Sonata didn't sell much on any platform, do you even have sales numbers comparing PS3 to 360? (I couldn't find anything besides lolVGchartz).

Vesperia was a little more popular, but wasn't released on PS3 outside of Japan. In Japan, it sold much better on the PS3 than the 360 (no surprise there).

TR 2013 on the other hand has sold more than 8 million copies.

Not to mention that all three of those games came out fairly early last gen, when I believe the 360 had much more sales than the PS3.

The problem was the PS4 was 1080p 50FPS average and hit 60FPS many times when the xbox one was half the speed,oh and with lower effects to.

My god... They achieve 1080p since Tomb Raider definitive edition,this game uses the same engine but modify so been 1080p doesn't mean there will be parity specially when TRDE didn't have parity the xbox one version as up to 30FPS slower and had lower effects to.

Because last i remember it was PC PS4 and is PS4 first so after a time it will come to PC xbox one was never on that equation but by all means continue to own your self giving examples which are completely different.
