Can't believe Blacklist sold so poorly....I thought the game was great. Stupid so called gamers only buy COD, GTA and Madden
That's a shame... I was really pleased with Blacklist. It's probably one of my favorite stealth games, and that's my favorite genre. They fixed all the stuff that was wrong with Conviction. What a shame. Maybe they should have waited for next gen to come out. I got it on PC, and they don't support USB mics, which is a terrible problem which makes it practically impossible to enjoy the excellent online aspects. The low sales mean it will most likely never get a patch. I wrote Ubistoft technical support and they said, "Try a non-usb mic!" So upsetting. Oh well... here's hoping they don't abandon the franchise all together. Too bad they didn't release a demo... I think if people tried it, they would realize that it's a deep, exciting stealth game.
Both are terrible, so there's really no surprise on my end here.
Terrible? Are you stupid or what? Both games got great reviews. I doubt you've played either game, so you don't have a clue. There are lots of great games out on various platforms that didn't sell well, but got great scores.

Had a feeling Blacklist was selling poorly. Next to nobody talking about it a few days after it released. Guess people just don't give a crap about Splinter Cell anymore.

I found both terrible games.
Especially Rayman, I hated that new addition of that Froglike freak thing, I feel it slowed the game down and for some reason levels felt recycled because of him, I'd rather they would have just continued the fantastic pacing they had in Origins.
It felt like they reused alot of assets from origins as well. Overall I wasn't impressed.
I love how easy it is to get you mad, I don't even have to try it's amazing.
It might be a wake-up call to go back to releasing demos. I might have bought Black List if I could test it first to see if liked it. Its not like its an open world game. Why couldn't they release a demo for it?
Well that's what they get for turning Splinter Cell into some annoying AssCreed/ Gears of War bullshit; the game's not horrendous in it of itself, but it pales in comparison to the glory of Chaos Theory.
BRING BACK CHAOS THEORY's GAMEPLAY!!!! AND MAKE ANOTHER FUCKING PRINCE OF PERSIA!!!
might as well stayed wiiU exclusive...
bit you in the ass ubisoft
No, what DID bite them in the ass was handling the delay so poorly to the point of pissing off an employee (unnamed) who worked on the game.
splinter cell blacklist was the game that should never existed. real splinter cell are just first 3. than Double agent start declining and conviction screwed it up while its perfect way to end story. so no point of blacklist make any sense
Correct. Surprised Tom Clancy's game series isn't dead either given to the mess they turned it into.

Fans of the series I know consider blacklist the 2nd best game in the series with chaos theory holding the top spot. I haven't played it, but for what seems to be a well crafted game that successfully allows players to stealth, run-and-gun(for lack of a better word) or use a combination of both strategies. Blacklist seems deserving of a little more praise, imo.
