I tried to get into TF2 and just didn't like it. But definitely yes to L4D and COD4.:P

tf2...absolutely
cod4...ehh, it was one of the better ones, call me crazy, but id prefer halo 3 over cod4, and im even refering to pc cod4
but for 360/ps3 owners who play tf2, i feel it is wrong to properly judge tf2 from just playing the console versions, it is MUST to be played on pc imo

i played it on the ps3, and i still enjoyed it, too barely anyone plays the game lately... T_T
i'm considering buying the pc version, would it still be a good time to buy it?

o ya for sure, community is huuuuge compared to the console community although tf2 can be a lil rougher on your computer compared to other source games(half life 2, cs:s), its certainly more cpu intensive than gpu, you can play it good with an average/older gpu, but is suggested u have a decent dual core cpu, or a fast single core[QUOTE="kidcool189"]tf2...absolutely

Absolutely. I'd get the entire The Orange Box, though, since it isn't that much more money.[QUOTE="joopyme"][QUOTE="kidcool189"]tf2...absolutely

i game on a dell xps m1530, my home pc is just downright disappointing.. :P
tf2...absolutelyI had the Orange Box for the 360 just before I got my gaming PC and a lot of people played TF2. Great game even on the consoles, but people are too busy playing Halo 3 >_< L4D in my opinion has the best multiplayer game. The way Valve makes you work together is awesome. If one person goes rambo they are almost garaunteed to get killed, depending on which difficulty though :P Versus mode is also a lot of fun and while playing the infected teamwork is also key.

Ive played every major Online game for any major system, COD, Brawl, Warhawk, Halo 2, Gears 1-2.
TF2 is the only game out of the bunch, that STILL bring's me back in and have a good time. L4D is quite good too. Battlefield 2/2142 is the only other game that has brought me back in over and over again.
TF2 is something special, no doubt about it.
Wait, how did Halo 3 not make this list >.>
Most played XBL game speaks volumes.
On XBL, COD4 had it's spot, it dropped. L4D had its spot, its dropping. not so much TF2 though (just laggy when it came out)
I bet you Halo 3 would be on that list if it were on the pc instead of 360.
[QUOTE="FerdMertz"]I love Left 4 Dead and spent alot of time with COD4. I played the crap out of Lost Planet and UT3 also. I didn't like Team Fortress 2 much though..........maybe I didn't invest enoug time into it but the mechanic guy that sets up turrents everywhere drove me insane, I mean how much skill does that take to run out of your spawn and wack a wrench around for a few second and watch the kills rack up? Like I said, maybe I didn't make it over the learning curve. I didn't like Halo 3 or the Gears (online anyways) games though...............first off they are too slow and I can't stand fighting over super weapons. "He who has the biggest gun" games suck.ice144were you playing tf2 on the consoles? Sentries are incredibly easy to take out. Yeah, the 360. Like I said, maybe I just never figured out those aspects of the game but I seem to remember getting annoyed with a sentries and spawing as the guy with the bazooka and firing multiple rockets at it to no avail.
The best MP this gen would obviously include Halo 3. It's far too popular to ignore.
I'd agree with COD4, i can't remember how many hours i spent on that, until COD4 WW2 addition ruined it.
Didnt like TF2 that much, and i've only played the demo for L4D.
WarHawk, Shadowrun, and R2 get mentions also. I'd like to say Gears 2 but ... i can't lie, it's too broken to call the best.
COD should be up there, but Resistance 2 has consumed my life along with LBP.
I seriously think LBP has to be the best though for any casual or hardcore gamer. Everyone in my dorm, guys and girls, come to my room just to play LBP. It's even amusing to watch.
The game also has the best replayability since the people are always making amazing new creations. So it never gets. There isnt one day when i dont play an amazing level.
