COD: on Xbox One will run at 1080p, 60FPS

Dude, one of the developers of the game in question is hardly a credible source. Really bro..........
I want this to be true but isnt that the quote from back in June or so that has already been mentioned?

Click the link. It's from an interview being published in this Friday's OXM, comparing 360 to X1. The June article talked about X1 and PS4 on Eurogamer. Sounds like this is a newer interview with Rubin of Infinity Ward. In the end, it's not going to shut up haters of a console that these people weren't going to buy anyway.
hopefully the people at neogaf will stfu and I'm even more hopeful that the people on GS will stop believing every word they say.
Xbox One is powerful enough to handle a game running on an engine from 1999 in 1080p. GZ. Want a medal with that?
Saw this too but i'm not one to start threads about such things. Apparently someone has footage of BF4 running better than on ps4. Another one of those things where it's best to wait until the games are out though

Not a true confirmation. They have glued together various sentences from the interview + it may have changed. Will have to wait and see.

Indeed, there is no official re-confirmation here.
Damn well better be running at 1080p and 60 fps. The damn engine hasn't been significantly upgraded in like a decade. Any less than 1080p/60fps on "next gen" consoles (for this particular game, at least) would be laughably pathetic.

Its from June.. the game is 720P on X1 sorry "manticore" LMAO
It does not say native 1080p. That could be upscaled, just as they say, "we hooked it up to a 4k TV and got it running on there."
That doesn't mean the game was running in native 4k (there is no way in hell XBone could manage that), it just means it was being upscaled

The quote is from June and if you look at the comments, the author asked the developer for further comment on that and he received no response.
Doesn't look good the the xb0ne... lol@poor peasants gaming on less than 1 million pixels while the master race is over here in glorious 1440p, 3.7 million pixels
All I know is this:
CoD is not a very stressing technical game at all. The only thing that I see that next-gen consoles are getting that current-gen console isn't, is a native 1080p resolution. CoD have always been running in 60 frames all throughout this gen, and thanks to recent news, dedicated servers will span across all platforms, so that's not a "next-gen" exclusive feature anymore. So, with all of this said, I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that X1 can run CoD: Ghost at a native 1080p resolution with no problem at all.

Speaking to us at Gamescom in August, Rubin reiterated that "it'll definitely look better". "Graphically I still love when we're playing in the office, when we play on Xbox One - you go up to a brick wall and you can see all the geometry of the bricks," he mused. "Even the little tiny cracks - you can see the geometry. It catches my eye, sometimes, even when we're in the middle of a firefight. It's like 'ooh, pretty' So if they quote him in August how is it from June? And way to go on the comment part. Leave out that he said Rubin is in another time zone and may not hear until overnight. Good out of context reporting.

It has almost nothing to do with whether the system CAN or can not. It has almost everything to do with the fact that porting the game to a console using brand new architecture is not a simple task
the real question tho is will it be native 1080p
Ofcoure it will be upscaled to 1080 but what is the native

Im a member of the master race as well and usually buy my FPS on my PC. A couple of my buddies begged me to go xbox1 for COD this time around. BF4 will be my PC plaything. I buy everything console and PC so its not like I bought the xb1 just for COD with friends.
With any advancement in true next gen tech, devs will take a bit of time learning the new tech in the X1 and than the games will truly shine. So of course the PS4 games will take advantage of being closer to current tech. And please use this as a confirmed rumor of any conjecture and speculation you can think of.
This article didn't confirm that it's currently running at 1080p on Xbox One.
Neil H: So it is definitely running at 1080p? i'm personally not that bothered if it is or isn't, but as i'm sure your aware there's a massive s***-storm brewing at the moment in regards to the games resolution "
OXM ETboy: "I've asked Rubin to comment on that, but not had any word back just yet. He's in a different timezone, so if we hear I guess it'll be overnight."
-_-. Still not confirmed

@I_can_haz: Will be interesting? Truly curious about the state of the art upscaler in the X1, if Cytek was truthful and Ryse was always running at 900p and DF couldn't tell with their instruments, than it won't matter what resolution the games are on X1. More graphical fidelity with no compromises trying to get your game to run in native 1080p,
Well Xbonoity should be happy now..haha
the resolution was still unconfirmed, just a bunch of pr talk. But I feel his pain, I was once a fan of xbox myself. But I started disliking Microsoft
He's not canceling his pre-order over this game not being 720p, no fvcking way.

Yeah, I doubt it too, that would be insane lol. Especially since he liked all the other stuff the Xbone could do.
As stated before, the original rumor that COD: Ghosts will only run at 720p concerned the possibility that IW *MISSED* their target of getting the game to run at 1080p.
Back in June they clearly planned on getting the game to run at 1080p... but that has no bearing on the actual rumor. The rumor is that they failed to meet this target.
Whether or not this is TRUE remains to be seen. The Xbox 1 is certainly capable of doing it, but the fact that it might NOT for both this game and TItanfall has the very serious implication that there is something horribly, horribly wrong with the Xbox One's OS or something. The hardware seems adequate, especially given that neither COD: Ghosts or Titanfall are particularly impressive games from a technological standpoint. Something is seriously wrong if this rumor is actually true.

CBOAT seems to have issues with MS.
