Cliffy B embraces the Master Race - "where the community is"

In a new interview, Cliffy B has talked about his future in games development. He has said stuff like "I will never make a disc based game ever again" but also that he is shifting more towards PC development because "that's where the community is"

"Your game is as good as how many YouTube videos it can yield," Bleszinski says. "My wife and I are totally hooked on Rust right now. There are two lessons people have not learned from Minecraft: Get the game out there and build it. Some kid will put out a video. Players will teach each other.

Starting his own studio is the direction in which he's leaning, and he wants to benefit from a modern online environment that allows development teams to have closer relationships with their players and welcome them into the iterative process.

"PC is where I'm going to wind up. That's where the community is," he says. "The trend will always be the core. If I start a studio, I want a community manager there day one. I want weekly video or podcasts; I want task lists available on the subreddit. When my wife and I play Rust, before we play, we check the subreddit.

Yup, I loved Bulletstom as well. I just love FPS that make the shooting and everything around it as much fun as possible. I also found that in COJ: Gunslinger and Shadow Warrior, so check those out as well ;)

Shame there will be never be a Bulletstorm 2.

Or how about not bringing Gears of War 2, 3 and Judgment over to PC ?

Anything that comes from a guy who on a bonus disc for his game has him talking about breaking up with his girlfriend and then showing him making out with her in a booth in a crowded bar is not someone I give even the smallest of shits about.

All he does is run his mouth saying a lot of words but not actually saying anything. He has the mentality of a man still stuck in his college freshman fratboy days. Or a guy who plays in a shitty local band to crowds of 5 on Tuesday nights in some crap bar yet in his head thinks he is a giant mega giant metal master that plays to arenas of millions allover the world.

Short of it: He is a pretentious douche that is incredibly full of himself for no real reason. His big claim to fame was saying "**** yeah dudes lets put a chainsaw on a machine gun!" and then chugged his redbull.

COJ:G is amazing as well, really fun arcademode :). Haven't played Shadow Warrior yet, think I'll wait for a pricedrop, but I'm looking forward to it.

Bulletstorm is one of the most interactive actionshooters ever. There so many fun things you can do. It's a true shame there won't be a sequel as I feel they could have nailed it in a second attempt.

Yes, there are a lot of things they could've done with a sequel. And eventhough I don't think it sold that bad, it just didn't sell good enough.

Shadow Warrior will surely be on sale in the next Steam sales. Or if you want it on consoles, it should be coming to XBone and PS4 soon. If you liked COJ:G and Bulletstorm I know you'll love Shadow Warrior :)
