good news, I have the 1st one and the framerate was seriously horrible.

Really? Which version do have? I just got a PS3 copy a few days ago and the framerate has been pretty solid so far.

the PS3's framerate is a little better, but I'd say it's pretty obvious that the both the PS3 and 360 can barely run the game (I have a platinum on the PS3 version)[QUOTE="Phoenix534"][QUOTE="ReadingRainbow4"]

I remember reading the lens of truth article, I think the 360 version runs at 20FPS and the PS3 at 22FPS
but I do remember times when the game definately had a lower FPS count then that
Sweet, i loved the first one on PS3, yeah it wasn't a real castlevania game, but i actually thought it was better than God of War, it also had a bit of SOTC mixed in which was cool.

Ah i see, damn that's pretty bad.
The thing about these games I just can't get over is not having the traditional remixed castlevania tracks. The music is one of the defining factors of the series atleast for me and without it, it just felt like it was missing that special something.
that and I really hated the main character design, he looked like a superhero or something didn't dig that.

I'm glad to see i'm not the only one who feel that way. The music felt too much like your typical orchestral OST so many games has. There's maybe only ONE song that remained memorable for me in Lords of Shadow and it would be this one
then again, this song is an arrange from this Super Castlevania IV song

Console gamers rarely notice low fps because they're so used to it, I personally didn't have a probem with the fps in dark souls until after I started gaming on Pc, now it's slightly painful. Ignorance is bliss I guess.[QUOTE="archvile_78"]

Same, I played it a while back on PS3 and the Framerate wasn't bad... And I am exited for this, I will get the PC version now :)Hell yeah. This is awesome news. I loved the first one and it is one of the console exclusives I always wished I could play on the PC. It's such a beautiful game, but the jaggies and frame rate problems really did bring it down a little bit.
Cool beans for the Herms, LoS2 is one of the sequels I'm looking forward to... let's just hope you're not like a lot people here whining about "not being Castlevania", although I highly doubt there won't be any complains (and this means consolites too)
BTW, have the PS3 version, don't remember framerate issues TBH.

Music I can get but Gabriel looks like how someone who has been combat training from young would generally look... what would you have rathered? An anime design?

yea frame rate was a flaw. Still highly enjoyed the game and plated it.
