Really disappointed in Sony's line-up this year, hopefully next year will be different.

GOW:Ascension, The Last of Us, and Beyond 2 Souls are the big ones so far. Vita/PS3 is also getting Sly 4, Ratchet and Clank Full Frontal Assault (they don't count in the metagame but they are both games that you might want to check out).

What's GFWL??With that said I feel if you can't get it on the competitors console, it should be considered exclusive, but I respect the rules.

Games For Windows Live. It's MS's marketplace for PC games which is not very popular with PC gamers. Another game is Mass Effect 1, it was published by MS ( this was before EA bought Bioware) and MS opted to put it on 360/PC. Unless there are major differences between the versions of the games ( like Little Big Plantet on PS3/PSP) we don't count then as exclusives since they are available on more than one platform.

He was banned. Nobody knows the exact reason since I don't think anyone talked to him outside of SW. I hope he comes back though. He was a fun user.

I agree, not been a good year for ps3 exclusives, well at least theres the new God of war next year. I think I bought at least 3 ps3 exclusives from last year.

It has been slow this year,but what a list of games that is.Sony have really delivered the exclusives this gen and with more coming early next year its made owning a PS3 really great!

The funny part is the PS3's worst year is pretty much just as good if not better then the 360 every year.

It was the entire Generation that was pretty bad for Sony. Too many loses , exclusive loses , stale sales and many more issues. Its not just this year. Are 7 years now.

Naw, it was 07. That year the 360 curb stomped the PS3. Yeah, the PS3 had Uncharted, but here's the thing: the original Uncharted was an extremely mediocre game with pretty cutscenes. In 07, the 360 had exclusively: Mass Effect Bioschock Halo 3 Crackdown Forza 2 Project Gotham Racing Add that to the fact that a LOT of people thought that Call of Duty 4 was a 360 exclusive (The commercial never mentioned anything about the PS3). Hell, everybody will agree that Call of Duty 4 was the FIRST good game that the PS3 got.

Yeah, I'll agree that Sony's software offerings have been disappointing.

However, the PS3's line-up for next year (and the possibility of the PS4 being revealed) will more than make-up for this mishap.

You guys are too hung up on exclusives. In 07 ALL you had was Warhawk, Uncharted, and Call of Duty 4. At least in 12 I was able to play Mass Effect 3, Street Fighter X Tekken, Resident Evil and Playstation All-Stars (haters be damned, ALL those games are fun to play). Not to mention Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Soul Calibur 5, DOA 5 and Virtua Fighter 6: Final Showdown; all considered the best 3D fighters of all time. Still a MUCH better year than 07. The only game people were playing on their PS3 that year was God of War 2.

It was a great year for PS3. I got to play all the same great multiplats as 360, and I got awesome exclusives like PlayStation All-Stars (better than anything on 360 this year IMO), Twisted Metal, Journey, Tokyo Jungle etc.....it's never a bad year when you have a PS3.

i thought it was impossible for any console to have a year worse than ps3's 2007, but i was wrong. 2012 for ps3 is probably the worst year any console has suffered in recent generations. :(

Worst year for Sony....not even close. the launch year was by far Sony's worst year. Now if you meant to ask "is 2012 playstation gamers worst year", I would agree. Sony made more money this year than they did when the PS3 launched, so I can't agree this is Sony's worst year.
