Can anyone deny that 2012 is PS3/Sony's worst year this gen?

well if you choose to ignore the vita/ps3 games..then ye i guess it does look lackluster... But since i dont choose to ignore them..breaking the SW rule... this year is probably on par with some of sonys other years.campzor

That's how I think, but I always tend to get shot down by "the rules."

Last I checked, Sony makes games for Vita and PS3. If they have a game for both it's still their exclusive. But the logic I come across here is, "lol good for you, but this ain't company wars." So, y'know, whatever.

Like when though? for all we know next year PS4 and 720 could be released and that would be a horrible time to release, and it doesnt really matter about how many people care about the Vita, the point is thats the reason for lack of PS3 support this year

It is irrelevant because it does not change the fact that this year was terrible. Sony had supported the PSP for years alongside the PS2 and PS3 and it was not a problem to keep up with releasing games on their main console.

It's been the driest year since I got my slim in '09, by a bunch. Really looking forward to 2013 though.getyeryayasout

Yeah I am only talking aobut exclusives here. I don't necessarily recall every every multiplat that was problematic back then.

Awful year all around including ps3 exclusives, i bought more multiplats from prevoius years than this. Tales of graces, me3, starhawk, fifa, journey Is mgs hd 2012?

Although journey s my goty.

It might get ugly if unfinished swan, karting or all stars score big lol.

Anyway next year looks amazing, last of us, puppeeter, gow ascencion, beyond, tales of xilia 1,2, yakuza 5, rain, is dust this ot next year? Hoping for guardian or versus.

I feel like I am missing something, point is the PS3 may not have had the best year in 2012, but 2013 is looking great.

And thankfully 2012 has had a lot of great multiplats, AC3 is leading the pack for me. 360 has had a better year in terms of exclusives, but not by much. It's been a lackluster year for almost every platform in 2012. I don't really like pulling the multiplat card, but there are a lot of good 3rd party games that are out or are on the way. I'm not suffering from the lack of games, the only thing that has been suffering has been my wallet :P
