Bungie Apologizes for charging $90 for 3 Emotes

Long term fans of blockbuster Destiny now don't have to rebuy the entire game and can now buy those 3 emotes / shaders / xp boost for a crisp $20

I'm still getting into the game I don't know what the **** an emote or shader is or how the hell one uses an XP boost. Sounds like a rip-off though. Most pre-order or edition DLC is shit anyways, the only people who need this are the obsessive compulsive types that gotta have it all. If anybody did anything to exploit those numbnuts it's probably Epic with Gears 3 and those gazillion weapons skins that were each kind of pricey.

People were mad at us for letting them go, was the best decision you can see how they truly where the whole time without our tender loving care.

@lamprey263: The "emotes" are stuff like dance moves that you do by pressing on the d pad. Shaders are what you wear to change your armors color. And the XP boost ate new, they're class items, bonds for warlocks, cloaks for hunters and a towel thing for titans I forget what titans call it. Previously class items where purely cosmetic these are the first to have so effect.

Its pretty expensive if they're actually going to sell it at 20 bucks but good for the people willing to spend that. At least now they wont have to rebuy vanilla Destiny and the first two "expansions"

The market is full of things that I want, but don't want to pay for. I don't really see that as a problem. I just don't get everything I want, and the people who make the stuff that costs too much don't get my money.

Yea, how do you go from making one of the most innovative franchises in gaming history to this fucking trash? The multiplayer, the biggest fucking thing Bungie is known for, isn't even good. Its unbalanced, boring and the maps are all varying degrees of awful.

I've enjoyed Destiny so far. I got the season pass as a Christmas gift from my brother, but I'm not going to pay $40 to continue on considering what they've shown as offering for The Taken King. Not worth $40 IMO. I'll either wait for a price drop or Destiny 2 to continue.

Bungie is on a self destruction spree just like MS was during the Xbone announcement. I wanted Destiny to be good and successful but that didn't happen...

Love Destiny. However, their model for this title screams "give us all your monies". $30 season pass for DLC. That's reasonable. Now, 40 more dollars for a DLC that SHOULD have been already in the game and then 20 dollars for dancing emotes? wtf? Who thought that was a good idea?

I apologized for sleeping with Jessie R's (I cant use her name) cousin. She forgave me. Some of us don't want to carry negativity. I forgive you Bungie, I still wont buy any of it, Godspeed. Forgiving another does not mean you must know or like them after.

They should apologize for Destiny altogether.

I've yet to play Destiny all too much but it's my son's most played game, I dunno, then again, he's a huge Souls fan as well so we don't always see eye to eye. :P

I'll say this, the gun play / game play is unmistakably Bungie awesomeness. ;)
