Borderlands 2 really has spoiled me and I can't go back to other loot RPGs @_@

Others like Diablo 3 and Warcraft are just plain boring with their humdrum point-and-click-targeting-pray-you-out-last-the-enemy gameplay.

Borderlands is an FPS and to get the best results, requires real skill for getting crits and you can actually dodge attacks too.

The only other loot RPG that tried to require skill was Tera and that failed in that regard.

Oh well, everyone should play Borderlands 2 if they havent already.

Just be sure to mute the TV whenever Clap Trap opens his mouth.

Its awesome that your Badass Rank carries over when you start a new character.

I haven't even looked into the DLC yet and I'm still excited to do the story again with a another defualt character lol

This may be off-topic, but can any of y'all help me with this one BL2 bug?

I'm trying to do the "Mighty Morphin'" side quest on the same area where you help Mordecai. When I injected the varkid coccoon, I got killed trying to fight the mutated varkid. After I respawned, I went back to the flashing indicator where the mutated varkid was supposed to be, but he's not there. To make matters worse, I can't inject another coccoon to make another mutant. I rebooted the game, but I'm still getting the same thing. Leaving the area doesn't change anything either. And it's still asking me to kill the mutant varkid that isn't there.

I still havne't beaten the main quest on that level, so I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it. Any help?

You should give Dark Souls a spin-- almost no loot at all in that game! :twisted:

If the game consists of a bunch of boring fetch quests like the first one, I wont enjoy it.

Agreed, the game is amazing. Too bad my friend doesn't bring it over to my house much anymore :(

I don't feel like buying any games right now, I just got Dishonored and am playing that still.

I got the first one waiting on Steam for my new rig. So I have to play that one first before I even bother with 2. I will pick 2 up when I can get it on Steam for $5 or less.

Not everyone wants to play a meme-filled FPS with stat-based combat.

I really enjoyed the game until my badass rank reset after downloading the Mechromancer DLC. Now I find it hard to even play the game. The bug hasn't been fixed, and I don't want to waste all that time building up the rank again just to loose it.

i love it, its a breath of fresh air in a genre filled with story driven modern war games.

So much better in co-op.
