If it's a standalone game I'm interested. If it's a BL2 expansion I'm not.

meh not wasting my time with a last gen game, i like borderlands series so will get once they decide to bring them to current gen system.

You know i'm not one to dissect someone's gaming habits. People enjoy what they enjoy.
But if you shun a game because it was just made for last gen systems it's kinda silly.
You miss a lot of great games because you have this bias always towards the new.
This mindset however show's that you're young and kinda impressionable though
Get over it and enjoy older stuff, sure some stuff doesn't age well and some of it is just a pile of shit.
But there's still a lot of great stuff out there that's not always new.
And despite Barney Stinson's #1 rule "new is always better" It always
necessarily isn't.

Meh...I enjoyed Borderlands but I dont think I need another title, endless open world shooting takes its toll.

Hoping it's good. Although I'm not sure if I like the O2 mechanic. Seems like it would limit exploration.

Im never touching a game that gearbox is involved with ever again. They all can suck it sideways.

Almost every weapon i've seen in the video is a recycled skins (they didn't do this from BL1 to BL2)... this is a cash grab but since i like BL series i'll probably get it day one of pc.

Isn't Borderlands the prequel to Borderlands 2?

I am seriously disappointed. I loved Borderlands and Borderlands 2 but this doesn't look like a jump at all... Seems like a cash grab.

I will get it but not day one unless I am proven wrong and this game has legs to stand on.

Borderland kinda got stale to me during the home stretch of the first game and I accepted that whn I started playing Borderlands 2.

Shoot some guys, pick up guns, looks at gun stats. Stats are similar so lets see how they shoots. Go to vendor and sell the guns I don't need, shoot some guys and start the whole process all over again.

I spend so much more time in menus in the game constantly stopping after every firefight that the pacing was ad. If drops weren't so frequent it wouldn't e such a big issue for me, but even then I don't think the act of actually combating the enemy ai is that entertaining. There isn't much challenge, many of the enemies just kind of stand in place and shoot.

So yeah, I'm skipping this. Although I find it quite humorous that it's not coming to PS4 and Xbox one. I can't imagine it being to hard to port and run in a higher resolution, owners of the new consoles would undoubtedly want to play a game like this on their new hardware.

Yeah but this one is called pre-sequel, its set after 1 but before 2.
