Hey, I'm with you. Nothing infuriates me more than installing a Blizzard game couple years after a release. Like World of Warcraft. It'll take at least a day to patch the game, before I can play it.

With patches I can play the game when I choose, when is convenient for me, after I've paid for it.

Any offline functionality is not cutout.

You're right, constant new content updates and bug fixes are terrible, Blizzard are evil for shoving them down our throats...

how dare blizzard make their games better, more balanced, and removing bugs through patches!!!

Bug fixes and free content is bad?

You have terrible taste for starters and also mmo's and competitive multiplayer games need that many updates to keep the community active and prevent hackers as much as possible, comparing that style of game to Oblivion is so far beyond ignorant I don't know what to say.

I kind of agree. They should at least consolidate their patches over time.

When I installed starcraft 2 last xmas I had to wait like an hour while a dozen different patches downloaded and then installed, one by one.

If you think that is bad, install TF2.
