BFBC2 or Black Ops?

Both are set in Vietnam(Black Ops goes crazy with the russian part, "Of course they go to russia ) . One's an expansion, one's a full game. So Discuss! Who will win the setting of vietnam!? This will also help me on which to get :D

Black Ops in sales.

Bad Company 2 in actually being...good, and everything else.

Might get the Vietnam expansion.

Don't know, will be skipping both due to suckage of their respective series.

I'm getting black ops on the PC day 1. I like the BC games for their SP, the MP is alright but its not really my thing.

Since most people in SW hate CoD I know everyone will say BFBC2

black ops looks pretty damn cool so far. going to be a close one, outrunning avalanches is pretty badass to me.

Depends on your tastes. Do you like a squad based MP experience and aren't turned off by terrible servers and a bad system to play with friends? It's great.

And COD suffers from terrible online as well, with an ever present lag in place.

Obviously Black Ops. It's a full fledged game as opposed to an expansion.

My friends and I still play a lot of MW2.. we went from MW2, to BC2, to.. nothing.. resurgence in BC2 for a bit and then back to MW2. Black Ops sticks to the same formula but just seems to have a lot "more", and I'm sure I'll enjoy it quite a bit. BC2 has some good stuff going for it, but I find the shooting mechanics and hit detection to be very clunky compared to anything else.. that's standard for DICE games, but it's just disappointing for me. I'll most likely skip the Vietnam expansion altogether.

That's completely backwards... The multiplayer is the golden apple of the Battlefield series, while the single player is complete crap.

For me, the single player of both series sucks. CoD is riddled with linear environments, a mediocre story and boring been-there-done-that gameplay. And for me the multiplayer is just a camp fest with stupid kill streaks and some overpowered weapons that everyone just abuses.

While BF series has had awesome team play experience, destructible environments(BC series), able to drive/fly vehicles and none of the stupid overpowered killstreaks that encourage camping. So of course, it's Vietnam for me.

Black Ops, easily. BC2 in general wasn't as much fun as BF2 for me.
