Pretty glad this is coming out on PS4, the graphics will be out of this world, It's a very very niche genre and many people don't like it but for me missing out on it due to my PS3 dying on me, I'm actually glad it's coming out on PS4, but I truly did love Heavy Rain, either way there are many 360 owners who jumped over, remastering some of the last games to come out which was so close to the PS4 release is not a bad thing, it's another game, it isn't taking away from any game which would of been released.

If you want to play B2S or Heavy Rain, there's a simple solution

it should be a bundle with heavy rain

Don't understand why you lot care so much, this or non of the remasters are effecting any other game, no one flutters there eye lids when games come out as game of the year editions and sold as new on the exact same console, if these games were taking up games what were meant to be coming i'd wouldn't mind these rants, but the fact remains, these aren't effecting any game development, there are no games coming until next year that goes for PS4/X1/WiiU, except the odd couple, all systems are on a drought, next year is busy, if you didn't like the game don't buy it, if you never played the game, then read reviews judge by yourself, it's a niche genre it isn't for everyone, but lets all put these remasters a rest there not hurting anyone for the most part there giving joy to the people who missed out on many of them first time around, as long as companies aren't using main game devs then i don't see a problem.

When more than one PS3 game starts hitting the PS4 you should KNOW this is just Sony exploiting the No Backwards Compatibility aspect of the PS4.

It isn't Sony doing this, it's the companies who made the game and I for one don't see a problem esp when most of them would of got game of the year editions anyway, plus it isn't holding any game back, there just using a small group of developers from inside there own companies to remake the game, it isn't effecting anything, it's actually a good thing, esp for me who's PS3 broke last september and haven't had a chance to play them, if you don't like it don't buy it, and people are buying it, no one is making them.

I was under the assumption Quantic Dream was a third party developer, Sony has nothing to do with it.

Edit: OK my bad Sony do actually own the Beyond Two Souls IP, but they don't own Heavy Rain.

Wikipedia points to SCE has publisher for both games. So i assume they control both. It was PS3 exclusive aswell after all

Beyond: Two Souls is a really nice looking game, it would fit well on the PS4.

However...the game itself isn't really worth playing. I personally would rather see Heavy Rain. The story in Beyond: Two Souls is the dumbest shit in the world.

Beyond Two Souls was awful. Just improbably bad. I did enjoy Heavy Rain because in spite of the hoops you had to go through just to pick up a cup they managed to make this quite chilling in stages where you were trying your best to rescue your son.

I could not get in to any of B2S because it didn't have anything in the way of a compelling plot, no such suspense and to top it all, I think it felt smug. Like they thought they were creating the Godfather of games or something. Its a shame because I'd enjoyed several of the previous games from the company going way back to the original excellent Nomad Soul.

When Sony said 30 AAA exclusives in 2014, i think they meant to include ports as well, so i guess it wasn't a complete lie
