Bethesda has 3 games in development. none of which are elder scrolls

Back and bigger than ever

No matter how shitty bethesda as developer but as publisher they are the best yet. no elder scrolls and most likely no fallout 5 since its too soon. so i guess none of 3 games are bethesda develop games and instead just publish games.

I guess 3 will be Rage 2, Evil within 2, Wolfenstien new order 2.

I'd gladly take a Rage 2. First one was awesome the little time it lasted. Evil Within 2? Wolfenstein TNO 2? Couldn't care less.

Could be a spinoff, Elder Scrolls has had a couple of spinoff's, as indeed Fallout has.

Want the next TES. I know you like want every game to be like it's from the 90s, but we don't :P

Their next game is Starfield.

I want games to evolved not dumbed down. cover system, see through walls and regen health are not evolution of games.

I love Elder Scrolls and would love TESVI to be released on current gen platforms. Considering these games take 4+ years to develop....

But most of the 1990's Elder Scrolls weren't all big or complex.

Bethesda Game Studios line right now is to deny game development and just show the game a few months before release. A leaked internal memo from E3 2014 showed that they had to ignore or deny the existence of Fallout 4 or it's codename Boston Project and also the existence of a new Elder Scrolls project codenamed Project Greenheart.

They need a new engine for their RPGs. I don't care how much work it takes.

I don't believe for a second that one of those games isn't the next elder scrolls

@uninspiredcup: Arena was and Daggerfall was the biggest most complicated game I've ever played, to its detriment. I loved it but it was more flawed than any other game I've even liked.

Don't remember them being that complicated, at least compared to DnD games. Sure the map in Daggerfall is life threatening huge, but you can just type where to go. Combat and builds are pretty straight-forward fodder as well, though more punishing if you mess up. The most difficulty I remember was the complexity of the dungeons themselves, which were at least engaging. Playing anything past Oblivion is like being forced to put wallpaper up.

I didn't quite enjoy the Evil Within, it was too hard to play on normal and the gameplay wasn't the best but it was nice change of pace for variety of games. Will probably Gamefly Evil Within 2 if it releases. I am quite hyped about Rage 2 though, one of the best FPS last gen and I thought it went underappreciated.

TBH, with how much of a downgrade Fallout 4 was to both Fallout 3 and Skyrim, which in themselves where big downgrades to Morrowind and Oblivion, I don't know if I even care if we get TES VI or Fallout 5.

I think the only things that would make me interested in another game in either series, is if they let Obsidian make the next ones, or Todd Howard at least steps away from them.

@uninspiredcup: The dungeons were broken, not engaging. Even the most basic one was hours of play with no way of getting through it without getting lost. Flat out broken.

Broken and engaging can be synonymous, as can competent and bland.

All Bethesda games are pretty naff. Daggerfall was probably the most interesting because it didn't handhold.

Starfield could possibly be their next game. They trademarked the name years ago and renewed it just last year. All the other Bethesda studios are on projects, so it makes sense that it could be BGS unless if its just the mobile game. Either way, sounds like we arent gonna see ESVI for a long time.

Also that new Quake game coming too.

Bethesda should exclusively do doom, fallout, and elder scrolls.
