Batman Arkham Trilogy vs AC2 Ezio Trilogy

AC series.

AC. The Ezio trilogy was actually good.

Asylum was the only Arkham game I really liked. City had a poorly designed open world that was difficult to navigate because I constantly hit dead ends when trying to get to a marker. Didn't even finish Knight because the batmobile was trash.

Arkham franchise easily and that's coming from someone who hates comic book superheros.

Ezio.

Both have aged terribly

Definitely Batman. Arkham Asylum is one of my fav games.

AC was way better for its awesome scope and depth.

Arkham was overrated drivel.

So many extremely dumb post from both camps in this thread, no wonder this place is becoming a ghost town.

The arkham games are in a league of their own. The puzzles, traversal, stealth, and combat all put the Assassin's Creed games to shame.

The riddler trophies and challenge rooms are top tier.

The Arkham games for me, better combat, better story, much better paced experience, AC games are littered with shallow cookie cutter content, it's not even close.

Batman no content.

Asylum and City were great, Knight was acceptable.

AC2 was decent, Brotherhood was good, Revelations was boring.

Only good AC games are IV and Origins and they’re not part of the Ezio trilogy so Batman.

Batman Arkham trilogy for me. Asylum, City, and Knight were all awesome games.

Easily the Batman series. The stealth was only a million times better. Same with the combat.

the Ezio trilogy is not that great imo. they were all let down by the terrible core gameplay the series had back then. I didn't care that much about Ezio as a character either.

Arkham Asylum was great, City was good and Knight was meh

Damn that's a tough one.

They're both amazing trilogies. I didn't like revelations as much as I felt the game did little to advance the main plot of AC. AC2 did have a great and literal "WTF" moment that I'll always remember.

I might be in the minority but I think Arkham Knight was amazing. Bugs aside, the story felt like a true batman story, with some tweaks here and there. I felt that the ending was way deeper than people realize.

I'd have to give it to Batman.

Batman AA/AC/AK and even AO are all awesome games.

Assassins Creed 2 is a decent game. The other 2 straight up suck.

Batman easily wins in a landslide. Arkham Origins is better than ANY AC game.

Facts.

since 2008 there's probably 3 ubisoft games i've liked and thought were good, as in 7 out of 10 good. and none of them were games from the ac ezio trilogy.

asylum i thought was great, city good, origins and knight... borderline good - 6.5s, maybe a 7 at a push.

Even though I loved Assassins Creed II, it honestly doesn't compare to any of the Batman games within this specific trilogy. I am biased though, I love Batman!

AC in terms of the progression of Ezio, but Batman in terms of gameplay and functionality.

For fun, Batman Arkham Asylum, I never finished any of the other batman games.

AC2 is far more memorable because of the great birth to retirement story of Ezio. So I'll go with AC2

AC2 was great but the sequels were completely unnecessary. I felt fairly bored playing them at times. It was the decent into yearly territory that almost killed the series entirely.

Arkham series for me is particularly strong and not been bettered. I may have been the only person to truly enjoy the batmobile in Knight but many agree with me that from start to finish being Batman has never been bettered.

Also, not a bad comparison at all. Superficially different games but both stealth action trilogies with collectables, open worlds, new skills and tools introduced as the games went on, buildings scaling and grappling and even gliding on both. People are just being mean spirited. What do you guys want? Endless troll threads? Great comparison for me.
