Back to basics : term "console exclusive" is back again in SW thanks to our "lovely" Xbone community

Lads, do you remember when Xboners here claimed that PS Now, which is available on PC too, and only has PS3 games, those games aren't PS3 exclusives anymore because you don't need PS3 as a PLATFORM to play some games?

Do you remember when Xboners here claimed that Street Fighter V is not PS4 exclusive cuz you can play SFV on PC and you don't need PS4 as a platform to play SFV.

Well, you don't need Xbone as a platform to play GeOW 4, FH3. But Xboners here claiming that these games are "console exclusive"

Who cares? It's been bandied about for two gens, and never really sticks... It was Cows last-gen. Not worth a thread.

total rubbish, it was cows who argued that console exclusives should be allowed when street fighter 5 released which is hypocritical because last gen they insisted that console exclusives did not exist, games like left4dead, witcher 2, risen, ego draconis , gothic 4 and darkstar.

and no PC does not equal Xbox but windows 10 does to a degree as they both run windows 10 as an operating platform and you cannot play Xbox one exclusives on PC without it.

Xbon s DOA? you do realise that Xbox one sales have increased year on year since it released and sales have ramped up quit significantly since the S was released.

and at this point in the story along comes a Scorpion.

the Scorpio will obviously be more powerful than the PS Pro and will actually sport a 4K Blu-ray drive unlike the Ps Pro.

and Neither Forza horizon or gears 4 flopped, both have over 80% on metacritic, gears my have flopped on here but when you look at the overall reviews it score exceptionally well.

console fanboys miss out, thats the only thing thats happening around here.

Take Games like Drivclub and the order, low scoring but Driveclub is brilliant and although the Order doesn't do anything new it's worth a playthrough.

both Lems and Cows just shoot themselves in the foot constantly, they miss out on awesome games because of misguided loyalty to companies that really don't care about them beyond what they have in there wallet.

Don't people only argue that the UWP games are console exclusive? The games on there work across the same infrastructure as the Xbone.

It's not like they're saying every Xbone game on PC is a console exclusive.

Gears of Flop flopped alright. I don't need to miss those games they're on PC and that's why the xbone is DOA, it's an irrelevant console since there are no exclusives for it. Meanwhile there are games on The Quad that can only be played on The Quad and nowhere else. And GOTY material at that.

Well Cows here are claiming M$ is dead because Gears 4 scored an 8 at Gamespot. Remember when The Last of Us scored an 8? Cows did everything in their power to discredit Gamespot, but in this case it's the only review that should be used...

Gamespot.com has taken down a lot of games across the console war fences though from Zelda to TLOU to of course most recently GeoW4. Doesn't stop me from enjoying GeoW4, Zelda, TLOU though. GeoW 4 did better at Metacritic fluctuating between 85/100 - 84/100.

All the factions flip flop on using GS though.

I've never been a fan of GS reviews in all my years as I've stated since 2005, nor just using one review site to discuss quality though. Eh.
