What do you say SW? Is it an upcoming masterpiece? Will it be better than Starfield (I know someone will make the comparison...)? Is it peak Uuuubisoft?
Just as Mirror's Edge it's made here in Sweden 😊!

Looks god awful. When fighting in first person, its straight up farcry trash. When flying and fighting on the bird, no games remind me more of Anthem than this thing.
Hope it turns out well. Enjoyed the first movie and just recently picked up the sequel on blu-ray so looking forward to watching that. Game looks like it has potential. Will keep an eye on it.

Also what's with the pandering? Blue people now?
Blue people are OK, i always wanted to date Liara.

Isn't she like 200 years old?
Looks fun. Like a good mashup of a shooter with Dying Light combined with a game where you fly on mounts (Divinity 2? Anthem?).
As I've said before, Ubisoft is a company I'd love to hate but they still put out some fun games despite making a lot of boneheaded decisions business-wise.

Anthem's gameplay was actually brilliant, though. Saying this looked like Anthem gameplay is an endorsement as far as I am concerned, not a criticism.
Anthem's failings had nothing to do with the core gameplay loop.
Running on the brilliant Snowdrop engine.
It really is a great engine.

Yeah but that's like a teenager in Asari years, so you know, kind of "barely legal" status
It's one of the three Ubisoft games I'm excited about, Frontiers of Pandora is one of them. I didn't get the chance to play that other Avatar game back in 2009, the Ubisoft Avatar however looks promising. Hopefully, it lives up to my expectations.

I couldn't disagree more. It was the most hollow and barebones experience that i can recall seeing in a video game. Its like they've made the map, and instead of filling it with activities and exploration, they launched the game. Literally everything outside of visuals blew. Gunplay was pathetic, chase/grind for weapons was the worst i've seen, zero endgame content, no build system to keep you playing for a while, ugly suits with the only praise i ever heard is "i feel like ironman" like flying in the air is original and never done in another game. It was a pathetic experience from the ground up.

Lots of experience. She would show me the way.

Oh I agree with you for the most part, the game was like 80% trash with little to no reason to keep playing. But the very basic execution of flying around in Iron Man suits on what is essentially the planet Pandora was the one thing they did well.
It just wasn't enough because it was a service-based game without any real services or reason to keep playing.
Big disappointment, and a huge waste of potential (yes, there WAS potential).

And i don't even like that, the flying part. What is the point of having beautiful environment, when you're zooming through it at 500 miles an hour?
Barely watched anything and immediately I thought this is Far Cry with an Avatar skin. :/ Not impressed.
Love how even super-shill jackfrags sounds about as enthusiastic as someone who's about to go a funeral.
Its ubisoft,it's open world if you don't like it you won't like PS first party,90% of sony games use the ubisoft formula...granted they add 15 hours of cut scenes but they are ubisoft at heart!
To be honest I'm not that excited about the game myself. Not really a fan of Avatar. I have no idea why that movie was as succesful as it was. It was ok, but nothing special imo. I get that the 3D stuff was part of it, but still. The game also comes off as pretty average. Meh...
it's Avatar and the last movie was boring as ****
this looks like your above average licensed shovelware, nothing more
nothing here screams creative conviction either, more like Ubisoft execs in a smoke filled room talked about they need a banger Hollywood IP that's guaranteed to make loads of money off its name alone and Avatar got brought up
