Attention Collectors - Destiny White PS4

Does anyone know if buying one of these is a good investment if you were to keep it sealed for a few years?

Meh...who knows. Probably not.

No. I think it's just a basic white PS4. Unless theres some kind of special sounds it makes when you power it on and off, I don't think there's any resale value for profit. I think you may get profit from limited editions with custom paint jobs.

No it wont. It's a white PS4, that's all. I will be getting that version when I get my PS4 though.

Probably not

I'll let you know in 10 years

Go get it signed by everyone at Bungie then it will be worth something.

#10 Posted by blackace (20556 posts) -

It will be worth less then what you paid for it 5 years from now. Even if it's still sealed.

No TC, a white PS4 will not make The Last of Us GOTY.

#12 Posted by yokofox33 (29522 posts) -

Doubt it will be worth much. It's not specially designed or anything. If it had Destiny markings on it, then maybe. I'd bet Sony will release a standard white PS4 in the near future by itself.

They wont be worth anymore than other PS4's imo, they'll make enough of them to saturate the market.

I would not recommend just for collecting purposes...it's not like it's really limited

After looking at the pics again, it looks amazing... except for that damn black touch pad. It looks so odd.

As for the question, probably not.

#16 Posted by lundy86_4 (43200 posts) -

No. They are releasing a white PS4 later this year.

It's literally impossible to predict these things. You would have better luck if it was limited, or rare, which it's not. But you still never know..

Why, so you can run on ebay and sell it for triple the price?

What a keen observation

Still working on the Destiny Hype Thread. Meh. I'm making the hype thread and I've been at it for over a week now (not at one seating, obviously)...I honestly just can't get myself hyped for the game. I'm trying my hardest but it's just not doing anything for me. I'm still making the hype thread though. Should be done by this weekend.

lol at keeping video game shit sealed.

Destiny collector's editions are already selling for hundreds.

If it is a limited release, I can guarantee it will appreciate in value. Just be sure to resell it soon.

PS4 is an amazing device for this considering it has no games.

Not gonna lie. It sure is pretty.

I doubt it. As sexy as it is, it would stick out like a sore thumb in my HTS (all black).
